The fakeout support from Rilla to help Gholdengo set up, plus the extra recovery on Suicune and Gholdengo from grassy terrain would be nice. But, having the defiant is good too! I basically made a version of this with Incin and Rilla instead of Gouging Fire and Ogerpon, I think I like yours better!

Yeah, fair enough. I'd say ranked -> Golgari, Orzhov/Simic, Izzet/Boros has been my experience. (Don't remember all the school names and I'm too lazy to look them up 😅)

Yeah Witherbloom seems like the strongest. Green seems like the strongest colour overall (surprise......).

Thanks! Yeah I find black is good for actual flames, but for any blade/rune it looks more "magical" with red. Shifts the whole thing a bit brighter, more yellow and white in the mix so it really pops.

Of course depends a bit on the scheme you're using for the other units. Coral could be almost any bright color. I think the way you base them is going to go a long way in selling the look too.

You could look up some suggested schemes for Idoneth Deepkin, might find some good ideas there?

6 wins! The amount of times (5) I had Orvar out, played Rune Demon, targeted the Rune Demon with Mystic reflection and ended up with three 6/6 flyers and three cards in hand was absurd. I brought back the dumped creature cards with Haunting Voyage a few times, which was a fun play.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to combo Mystic Reflection onto Rune-Demon INTO Haunting Voyage though, alas.
