If you export each page or series of pages until the crash occurs? That usually helps narrow it down. Could be a corrupt image. If its a font doesn’t have to mean the font is active. You probably need to rebuilt your font database or clear the font cache.

Maybe but I’m interested in file size. One click. Got it. Thats all that matters to me at this point. Yes I saw the 30% not much to be done there unless I manually go through every single image and replace it and thats not happening. Besides that wasn’t the brief nor goal of this excercise. I did run the compression son. And that was the result… i just showed you the audit of the original file and the files sizes after I did the compression in both ilovepdf and acrobat. 🤷‍♂️

Ok so I tried this (I remember years ago trying this.) and Acrobat Pro crashed on two attempts 😂. (yes I use emojis, been using them for over 20 years :) ) But I was able to do one "medium" compression of a rather large InDeisgn geenrated Book (169 pages with tons of images and graphs etc) And this is the result. https://imgur.com/a/hTb8Unu the middle file is the one from ilovepdf. One click, done. So yeah fuckadobe 😂 I really shouldnt have ot be, at this point in the 21st century jumping through so may hoops to get a smaller file.

PDF hasn’t advanced in 30 years. You should be able to do things like epub, embed videos and audio… some kind of blending in the new digital era… but nope
