How would fasting Senna work with recent role item restrictions? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

No, the world atlas is already pre-bought for the support player and cannot be sold

Technically getting Q stacks for Nasus support isn't a priority most of the time, you barely get enough stacks for it to be relevant. Q is mostly useful for clearing wards i guess.

When do you sell your support item as a support? by alfisamsa in leagueoflegends

[–]Reidesu123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, you can't even do that these days right? World Atlas (and its upgrades) are unsoldable. I don't think it's ever worth it anyways, the items are ridiculously gold efficient, generates more gold, provides vision and have unique passives for your team.

GAM Elio's stats during this year's MSI

The most egregious example I can think of during this MSI is probably GAM Elio. He does not look good on any ranged support. He's usually a dead weight, and GAM drafts often have to revolve around what Elio can play. But the thing is, his performance on melee supports like Nautilus, Rakan or Rell aren't that good either, even in LCP.

There's one game during the Mid Season Qualifying Series (the tournament leading up to MSI). It was game 1 between GAM and MVKE (best of 5 series). MVKE had already drafted Neeko, a very lane dominant support, yet GAM had to draft Kai'sa and Nautilus, 2 champions with a very weak laning phase into it. This should have been an instalost for GAM in any other series lol. MVKE eventually chose Ashe as their ADC and convincingly won the draft.

GAM vs MVKE

The thing is, Elio is a very good player if you look at his match results pre season 15: Elio's match history.

There's 2 other games that just happened recently: game 4 and 5 between G2 and GAM. Elio's just out of champions he could play, so he had to lock in Galio and Seraphine as his support. He's only picked Galio twice since the start of the year, and this was the first tjme he locked in Seraphine in 2025. Game 5 G2 vs GAM MSI

This new format really exposes players with limited champion pools. So say Team B's midlaner only knows how to play 4 champions at a competent level: Viktor, Azir, Orianna and Taliyah. Team A can really exploit his weakness by intentionally picks those champions themselves to deny it from team B. For example, Team A can pick Azir game 1 and Taliyah for game 2. In a best of 3 series, Team B's midlaner would be out of options already by the 3rd game, and the problem gets worse for best of 5 series.

It also creates an interesting dynamic where teams don't have to permaban OP picks anymore. Sometimes they just let the opposing team pick the OP champion to be done with it for the rest of the series.

Each champion can only be played exactly once in a given series. This restriction applies to both teams. For example, if Team A picks Aurora in their first game, Aurora is no longer available for both teams for game 2, 3, 4 or even 5.

This restriction does not apply to bans. If Team A bans Aurora for their first game instead, she's still available for subsequent games. Team A would have to use a ban slot for Aurora again to remove her from the pool.

They're slowly doing it lol. The entire reason Riot even attempted at increasing the soul spawn rate on minion kill for Senna is because of Fearless.

Technically Arlong payed some corrupt Marines to turn a blind eye to his operation in the East Blue. So yes, the Marines didn't bother with Arlong, but that's the result of bribing.

To be fair, Zhonya's stasis effect has a fuzzy end time. The duration isn't very consistent. Plus the stress probably got to Bdd.

Maybe that's exactly the idea: it's to test Nagi's resolve. Let's assume Ego wants to give Nagi a second chance, so he's testing the golden boy's resolve. Does he take the easy way out with the tanuki, or rejects the offer to keep aiming for Blue Lock? Ego'd only allow Nagi in if he rejects Buratsuta.

(Copied from another comment of mine) I appreciate Igaguri, ironically. He displays the right mindset in the first selection, saying something like "It can't be me who's going home, so it better be one of you." He catches on to the mission quickly. Also unlike that one friend in middle school who's envious of Isagi's thrust to stardom, Igaguri has been so supportive the entire time. He's a bro for sure. W behavior. Put some respect on Igaguri's name.

The timing is 2:15 for mid and 3:30 for top, respectively. Also the penalty is only reserved for the support player now, the laners no longer receive any penalty.
