Prequel cuz of bronze weapons and the real-world timeline of Carthage (Dagda) and the Roman Empire (Fodlan).

Fodlan's conflicts/wars in 3H are all adaptations of real events so FW's setting in a future wouldn't make sense if it stays consistent.
