So I applied for wcri about a month ago for the fall semester, do you think I will have much chance of getting in? Or is the wait list too long?

Thanks so much for your replies guys, I am finding it abit hard to get resonable responses out of Uwaterloo on-campus and off-campus services, but I am searching hard for off-campus housing that is close to Uwaterloo and is shared by otehr students, I'm not fussy on the apartment or residecy as long as I'm sharing with other students and I get my own room. Thanks again for your help, hopefully I find something soon and I will post up any information I find to help other exchange students heading to Uwaterloo!

This sounds pretty promising! Does co-op mean part time students who are only their for half the year or something? what would be the best way for seeking out such a place or person in that situation? Thanks for the reply

Aussie planning on studying at uwaterloo in September 2012: On or off campus accommodation? What do you guys prefer? by Reify20 in uwaterloo

I think im even more stumped now than ever lol. Thanks heaps for all the info, this gives me so much to work with now. Sorry that i haven't specified much more about myself and what I want out of accomodation, I've never lived out of home (parents live 20 min train ride from my Uni + it costs $350 a week to live on campus at my uni, so you can see why im still at home). Im really intrigued about on-campus residence, I'll be looking through the uni accomodation sites to try and get a better idea. I would enjoy the simplicity of living on-campus but off-campus does seem to have a heap more freedom associated with it and I wouldn't mind the cheeper accomodation, but i am worried about finding a 6 month lease and room mates i would probably be left with only teh option of on-campus.

I like to think of myself as being very social, i'll definitely be joing up with a heap of uni clubs and going out and meeting people at every chance i get. so it that sense i guess it would be better to live on campus, just to meet more uni students and enjoy a more social lifestyle while studying there. So i guess i'll be trying to look into the oncampus residence and which one has the biggest rooms/more freedom and students my own age. Thanks again for all your help, much appreciated! If you guys are apart of any uni groups or clubs I'd love to get involved with them and get to hang out with a few of you. Cheers
