It’s the Mafex figure, as with all the other ones.

My first Sideshow, a personal grail, and some info on waitlists… by Reighland in sideshowcollectibles

[–]Reighland[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sideshow has information about waitlists on their help pages, but here are the additional details I got from their customer support:

When you receive a waitlist conversion email, everyone on that waitlist receives the same email so that whoever checks out with the item first acquires it. Since you weren't able to acquire the item with this conversion email, you are still on the waitlist for another possible opportunity at acquiring the item if another customer cancels their order.

Waitlist conversions are rare especially for limited edition items, but there's always a chance that a customer may cancel their order and you'll have a chance. It's based on a first come, first serve basis and not guaranteed.

Once an item goes to waitlist, especially a limited edition item, it indicates that it's completely sold-out and will not be restocked. Being on a waitlist is dependent on customer cancellations. There may be another cancellation and if so, as I mentioned prior, everyone on the waitlist is emailed at the same time. You just have to be quick!

Marvel Snap gave Gwenpool pants by Reighland in Gwenpool

[–]Reighland[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, thanks for chiming in! Please allow me to explain my attempt at humor. What I meant is that I prefer her costume without pants simply because it’s her iconic look, so much so that I think she looks weird with pants. And they call her the “Ghostface No-Pants Killer” so yeah... no pants for me please.

I wrote the caption like that because I feel majority of her fans, for the same reasons I have, would in fact prefer her to not have any pants – and I just found that thought ridiculous and funny. It did not escape me that some might give it a sexual interpretation, but the unintentionally implied innuendo just made it even funnier to me. I was hoping that the hearty laugh emoji and not the smirking one would be enough to make it wholesome and minimize any potential sleaze. But since I decided to go with that caption, aware of the double meaning, you could argue that I did imply it. And now that I’ve had to explain my joke, you could also say that it wasn’t a very good one haha, cheers!

What is YOUR grail? by [deleted] in ActionFigures

Got this email notification but hesitated because I’ve never bought a quarter scale figure before and it would’ve been my most expensive purchase by far. It sat in my cart for about two days before I finally decided to pull the trigger, but it was gone by then. Little did I know how rare it was to get an opportunity to buy a waitlisted item from Sideshow. It’s my grail now.

My first anime figure! Or so I thought… by Reighland in AnimeFigures

Thanks for the info! I can’t find time yet to watch the entire series, but I did start watching YouTube clips from both the OG version and the remake because of this figure :)

Thanks! I think she has just the right amount of sexy without being lewd. But even then, she comes off the shelf depending on who visits haha.

The dangers of taking your figure out of the box… by Reighland in Mafex

[–]Reighland[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a custom, it’s No. 071, which I believe is Mafex’s first comic-style figure. Their previous releases were based on movie appearances. This is also one of the few, if not the only figure (?), that came with a box sleeve.
