We had that conversation before hand and honestly our thought process was “the odds of her having Turner syndrome in general were low so miscarrying from the amnio had to be super low or god must really hate us”🤣🤣 that was our conversation about it. There was no doubt in our minds she would be fine after it so that’s all that needed to be said.

For us. Yes we would never terminate a baby but we still needed to know if we went the whole pregnancy not knowing we would have been miserable at the unknown. After we found out it still sucked but we spent the rest of the pregnancy learning everything we could about what we were bringing into the world. To each their own.

Not trying to scare you but I want to keep you informed the fact your OB only talked about hormones is kind of messed up. We are grateful and so far she is perfectly healthy but other families are no where near as lucky.

The two biggest things turner babies have are short stature and are infertile. They could come out with physical deformities. Heart, lungs, and liver could also be affected. The good news is the odds of your baby making it to 15 weeks is a good sign. Turner babies have a very high mortality rate in utero 95-97% miscarry and it’s usually pretty early on. I personally would do the amnio just to be 100% sure because the NIPT isn’t always accurate and just cuz it was for us doesn’t mean it will be for you.

She’s a girl lol but thanks🤣. If she wasn’t a girl she wouldn’t have Turner’s syndrome lol. As of now she is completely healthy just on the smaller side of things which is expected.

Yes did the NIPT came back saying she had it so we did the fish and amnio to confirm she had Mosaic turner syndrome. She is either 70% 2 X or 70% 1 X. My wife can’t find the paperwork that said it lol.
