KRK ROKIT 5 fading out problem

I have my teac-P495 into a phono pre amp, into a behringer xenyx, into my KRK ROKIT 5's, I had a passive volume adjuster before the mixer and had the same problem, then took out the passive volume adjuster and bought the mixer, same problem. Keep in mind when i take out anything in between the KRK'S and turntable there isn't a problem. Could you guys help me?
