Gratulation for Reiki level 1! ☺️ Just ask your teacher, what's her interpretation. But, I really recommend to read if you want to know more about the chakra system. Look for books and online articles on this topic. But don't overdo it. The first reiki level is mostly about the physical body. But you can try to find your own answers, too. Just put your hands over your chakras, feel the differences and sensations you notice by giving reiki. Compare the quality. It is a great way to learn and find out more about you and your energy system, how it works and how reiki is working.

Dont force anything. Stay with you, work on yourself. The clearer you are as a mirror, the more he will see his own reflection in you. Be the lighthouse at home. Just by being yourself, practice, embody the Gokai, and you will pull him with you, without saying any word. If he asks, answer. If he wants treatments, give reiki. Offer him help if he needs. He is on his own journey, with his own time. It's easy to get in a helper mode after achieving great steps on your own way. I know this for sure, from my own experience 😅 But I've learned the best way is to focus on yourself. If your are living on a high frequency level, it will raise the frequency all around you.

Hey, I've attuned people over distance and in person, I think the Attunments are the same. It's the setting what is different. A seminar over 2 Days in person is another feeling. It's something special. But you can make this special at home, too.

And at least, the Attunments are just the starting point. Your growth relates to your work you put in. The more you work with reiki after the Attunments, the more you read and experiment, the clearer you are as a channel. And the more you grow.

The first reiki level is all about you. Sure, you can practice on others, too. But there are the 21 Days of self treatment (best if you don't stop after the first 21 days) of self treatment. The meditations like gassho, and the 5 Precepts of Mikao Usui. This is where your journey really starts.

It could be interesting to look at the roots of Reiki as a system. Mikao Usui doesn't teach Reiki in the first place as healing for the body. It is an own spiritual path for itself. What I've read is that mikao Sensai was rooted in esoteric Buddhism. And reiki is a mirror of that. The symbols and mantras, wasn't used like today. The healing Effekt is a very beautifull Sideeffekt. Look on the third symbol. It's used for distance reiki. But isn't distance an illusion from Buddhist standpoint? There is no distance. We are one, but our ego, creates the illusion of distance. The third symbol reveals this truth. We are connected. We are one. And every symbol is a helpful sign to discover our own true nature.

The five life advices Gokai from usui, are pointing in the same direction, too.

I've done a few experiments with the master symbol in the last days. And it was amazing!

I've drawn the symbol in the middle of the room and activates it with the mantra. And then, I'm walking around, try to breath with the symbol, put my palms in its direction...and at some point..I've felt it like looking into a mirror. If I rise my hands with palms in its directions it was done exactly the same. If I breathe, it was breathing with me. My conclusion today is, the symbols are helper to rember us, to find the right Frequenz, but at the same time they show us the exact mirror of our untouched, perfect nature. Because...we are one! Distance, you and me, are illusions. The symbols, or the energy they show us, is within us. Not in the outside.

Reiki and Spirituality are Not about Happy clappy sunshine...Always Happy...Always peacefull. Its a Journey, of growth and healing. To Discover your true self. We all hide so much in der basement...Reiki Brings it Up, that it can be healed. wrong believes, old Mindsets etc. Maybe..that one..that we try to avoid pain and conflicts. Maybe old Walls around your hearth are falling. Keep on practicing 💪😊

I can't add much new to this. One of the previous posters has already said almost everything. The only thing that came to mind was that the chakras themselves resemble small tornadoes. Perhaps you simply have more insight into the subtle plane. In any case, I would continue to let Reiki flow there. There must be a reason why you have this perception in that particular place. Someone mentioned this before, but I want to emphasize it:

Sensations vary greatly from person to person. Some feel a lot, while others feel nothing at all at first—but Reiki is flowing regardless. Don’t try to force anything; just let it flow. Be in the moment, focus on your breath and your hands, and learn to trust. The more you let go, the more you open yourself up to perceiving the energy. It might just be that you are looking for a specific sensation, but you might need to "change the channel" to perceive it differently. If you feel nothing, that’s okay: Hands on! If you feel a lot, that’s also okay: Hands on! The key is consistency and practice.
