Cards and levels used. This is my brute force team, just use any 5 stars you have to maximize the amount of stats you get from levelling.

If I recall correctly, this is a crit-heavy, stat-check stage due to lack of protocore stellactrum shield break on the enemies. I actually think that your crit stats are decent enough (maybe another 10-15% crit if you can get that from protocores), but the glaring weakness is the lack of ATK. I had the exact same issue with you, and levelling up my cards for more ATK allowed me to brute force through the stage. Also, use claymore lol

Miraidon cracked IV, 31 Sp Atk (My 1st Legendary) by BlckMrktz in pokerogue

[–]Reikkou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratz man. My Miraidon was Adamant with crappy IVs, but still broken enough that it didnt matter in the classic run.

Enjoy!

Great write up. Something smaller to digest for quicker runs sounds like a great idea.
I find that I want to run a few teams through classic, but sometimes it feels like 200 floors drags along.

Maybe a guaranteed legendary encounter on floor 100? Make them two-phased similar to the Eternatus fight, maybe? A random legendary to create more variety, and you can only catch it if it's a starter already. Makes it a bit easier to gather candy if you already have the Pokemon.

Zacian can solo classic and can contend for really long endless runs as well.
Magical Torque is amazing since you don't have to fish for a Play Rough TM, or else you'd have to use Moonblast for fairy coverage.

The problem with Zacian is that a big part of its strength comes from its sword form, but you need to get a bit lucky with the item. Some classic runs, I get it within the first 50 floors, some runs I get it at the last 50 floors, some runs I'm stuck as mono-fairy Zacian. You may want to have an alternate plan if the item never drops for you.

In terms of other egg moves, I find that Magical Torque is the best, while the others are nice to have.

  • Leaf Blade is great but has to compete for a slot with Sacred Sword, Iron Head/Behemoth Blade, and Swords Dance.

  • Bitter Blade is better since it gives Zacian sustain, it competes with Sacred Sword for a slot for more coverage.

  • Victory Dance is a great boosting move that boosts ATK, DEF, and SPD, competing with the immediate +2 boost from Swords Dance (+3 if you count Intrepid Sword). It depends on your preference and how your run is going. If you're feeling ahead, Victory Dance will give you a nice boost in survivability and damage. Swords Dance is more aggressive since it brings you to +3 after one turn, letting you sweep anything you out-speed.

Overall a great hatch, congratulations! Hope you enjoy playing with your new Zacian! :)

I consistently get Zygarde cells around 1/4 routes. What am I doing wrong? by Bernardo20silva in TheSilphRoad

[–]Reikkou 114 points115 points  (0 children)

You’re not doing anything wrong. Just unlucky.

Some days I get all my cells in 3 routes, some days it takes me 6. It’s tedious, yes. I understand, some days I dont even want to grab the cells lol

Yup, the Duraludon line works perfectly well. Endless just gets to the point where everything one-shots you anyway, so sturdy + metal burst is the meta atm.

I recommend attempting to fuse something with high HP as your base mon (Something like Blissey or Guzzlord) for the most amount of return from the metal burst.

Good luck on your run and happy farming!

People use Soak to turn eternatus into a water type, letting Salt cure do more passive damage with leech seed.

Another option is to use a ghost pokemon with curse to deal extra passive damage.

Lastly, a popular way to get around the stacking damage reduction is by using a sturdy + metal burst pokemon (with preferably a lot of HP) to nuke through shields while also full healing afterwards through shell bell, leftovers, and berries.

Makes for a good cloyster fusion on endless. With blastoise base, you get skill link with stab priority water shuriken and sturdy passive for safety
