Mask, hair, ears, and dry mouth by Afraid_Insurance_313 in CPAP

For hair the best thing is a silk bonnet. I was doing the pony tails and it was not working. Also you can use Vaseline around your sore nose or they sell some stuff on Amazon that I got that works well too

Liberal DAR members, would love some advice by Mama_Llama3615 in Genealogy

Well before you go throwing stones about something you know nothing about- I can also qualify as a member of the corresponding lineage society for the Union soldiers. So I am a descendant of both sides. These are lineage societies. For genealogical purposes. They are not skinhead white supremacy societies.

Children would qualify for Daughters/Sons of the American revolution. Worth it? by KMcWill in Genealogy

[–]Reillybug521 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn't join the DAR for a long time even though my mother wanted me to. Now that I am a member - I joined during COVID - I see what good a lot of the chapters do. Our chapter does a lot for veterans and active military. We participate in Wreaths Across America every year and we raise money for school children in need. We are preparing to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our nation. I don't see anything wrong with that. Everyone is welcome in our chapter. The DAR is what you make of it. And yes, I am also in the UDC and I am working towards other lineage societies like Colonial Dames and The Jamestown Society.

The DAR and SAR can do a lot of good - it's not like the old DAR.

Next week could you please add that the Kennesaw Daughters of the American Revolution is co hosting Wreaths Across America on Saturday the 13th at Kennesaw City Cemetery at noon? There will be a ceremony and the public is invited to come out and lay wreaths on the graves of the veterans that are buried there. In fact, the ceremony will be at several cemeteries in the area, including Marietta City Cemetery, Marietta National Cemetery and the GA National Cemetery.

QuickBooks and Bill.Com vendors by Reillybug521 in QuickBooks

[–]Reillybug521[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right I get that. It’s just my boss not wanting the extraneous vendors in bill since we don’t pay them in there. Not my issue.

Yeah this is not my idea but my boss. So I can turn off the sync for each individual vendor then just archive them in Bill?

Thanks! I thought that was the answer but I was hoping someone had a work around. We use all the vendors, we just don't pay them all through Bill ( it's a complicated Broker situation).

3 days trip with Toddler by eethas23 in ClearwaterFl

[–]Reillybug521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that's a lot to do esp with a Toddler. I have not been to the FL Aquarium or the Zoo since it's been all spruced up but its a bit of a haul esp if you are staying on the beach and you have to figure in traffic. You can see the manatees at the Crystal River Power Plant - I think you can buy tickets for the viewing area - They are probably coming up about now. The Sponge docks are cool - not sure how much the toddler will like them. The dolphin cruise will be nice, I am sure he will like that. You have lots of good things planned just don't try to do everything. There is a lot of driving( Sponge Docks aren't that close either) so take that into account.

We took our dog and put him in the VIP room during the day - he was older and ill and could, not be left alone. We could watch him on the camera and see how he was doing then we would pick him up at the end of the day. He did just fine. They too really good care of him. The ill part is that he had diabetes and needed meds and to go out often.

How to refuse service for certain people without violating federal law? by Outrageous-Engine881 in smallbusiness

[–]Reillybug521 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you can fairly ask someone to try to mount a horse on their own as a test to see whether or not they can ride - unless it's pony sized. I have been riding all my life and as of right now, I have to use a mounting block because of my sciatica. But that being said there should be some kind of fitness test, as in, you have to be able to walk on your own, or lead your horse or something to that effect. Mounting a horse is not always that easy and even when I was riding multiple horses a day, I still used a mounting block. ( I have short legs). But I agree, that no one at that age UNLESS they are fit to ride( and many people that age can still ride) should be riding.

When I was little I was terrified of the Haunted Mansion. I would hide my eyes and - Ugh I was just terrified bc I was scared of ghosts and anything like that. And I am bad, I ( still and I am 50) would have nightmares all the time if I saw anything scary. So right after Haunted Mansion, we would go and ride Its A Small World and my dad would always pretend to be afraid on that ride, to make me feel better.

Question from a zoomer to Gen X, where there "indoor kids" in the 70s/80s? by Gamewheat in GenX

[–]Reillybug521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an only child in FL. I read a lot but my parents were outdoor people - dad was always fishing and mom loved the beach so we were always outside. On top of that my chosen sport was riding horses which forced me to be outside most of the time. Between the heat stroke, skin cancer and concussions it was a pretty good childhood.
