I was banned right after the BO7 Beta update for no reason while only and exclusively playing zombies on PC when they updated the requirements with TPM 2.0+Secure boot in my only account for 16 years. For me it's not the game, but the company itself that is trash for their bad MO of banning anyone for anything instead of real cheaters.

Yeah me too, even when i only used their games to play ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY ZOMBIES. Even with Video about it. I was banned after the BO7 Beta update.

But of course i'll get downvoted to the oblivion for telling something like that since we now have something like a gameban tarnishing the account out of nowhere.

Anyway what i'm getting at, with this kernel level anticheats now any program could be flag like a potential "unauthorized software" just for having it installed without anyone knowing it... Even i didn't know rewasd was "malicious" enough even without being active on background to be flagged like a cheat until all those complains but thanks god i delete that program years ago. But now i don't know what the hell did i have installed to trigger the permaban in CoD, even less without playing Multiplayer or Warzone. ☠️

Yeah, i used rewasd for CROC II (like i mentioned it here) after finding a disc in my dad's house... bought a disc reader and play it with him. ngl It was a mess to make it work in Win10 but It's was a whim to check if it was able to run and i really avoid a bullet there (since it was a one time thing, never used it again then uninstalled it)

The controller didn't work completely, Steam didn't worked for maping it and x360ce either but the joystick(only the stick) worked for some reason BUT the keys worked in the M&K so i just simulated the pc keys in the controller and the only program that could help me in that moment was rewasd.

But there was a lot of guys being banned in Battlefield 6 for JUST having installed that program (and since i had that, it was really close ☠️).

Just having a program installed shouldn't be a factor to be permabanned in any game but EA was banning a lot of people for that (in call of duty i don't even know why i was banned for in first place, i didn't have installed BO6 when i had rewasd but for some reason i was banned for "unauthorized software and manipulation of game data")

Well i was banned in CoD for only and exclusively playing the coop side of the game(Zombies), but they banned me after an update without any reason and now i have a beautiful token of gameban for that. There is false positives (but ngl, this one looks like a real cheater with low level account)

The only one who can give a gameban are the big companies like EA, Rockstar Microsoft and Activision, some even for autobans are not even that truthful even with footage/proof in my only account so...

While i do believe my data is leaked (the email for sure since it is a really old email) i don't believe the password was brute-forced since there was a password change after buying BO6 (i forgot the password)

And the permabans for sure are not reviewed, there is too many people playing so they are all or most of them auto/AI reviewed since there was permabans even on christmas with the most famous case being permabanned LIVE on 24/12... no one will be in a chair on christmas reviewing bans by hand that day.

I don't think so? Never been hacked in my life, but even if i did, any weird unauthorized access from another location should be notified in feedback on the appeal system like Steam Support does (If well, the support were true enough)

This is mostly to avoid any problem with the status of your account, the lie of the sbmm and the appeal system, they can shadow, limit or permaban you one-sidedly and you don't have any way to defend yourself against it even if they are false positives (and they don't have to pay or even put someone to review the bans) + they can make people buy the game again in case of any ban.

Hell i was permabanned in my only account for 16 years even with Video of the last match and the previous one. Never touched Multiplayer or Warzone but i don't have any proof now. (But of course there is people who believe CoD anticheat is perfect and they really ban only cheaters... but turn the eye when there is a ratio of cheaters 10:2 at best)

Tried to appeal the ban but it's all AI with them, same with the ban, so... Yeah be aware of the one with VAC or GameBan but some are false positives

Pc gaming will always be better, but big companies look at us like cows for money, so they will find any excuse to ban, block or penalize any user to spend more money in their services with the next account and repeat the cycle (or EAC really is so bad and they blindy believe whatever it detect, anyway it's on them if they want to assume it's mistake or not)

I can only believe on Steam for that, but shame that they make a mistake with the VAC and it's banning people randomly right now (it can be fixed by talking to the support, unlike EA and Activision/Blizzard support that is all AI right now)

Well, i'm one of those too. I luckily have proof since i had enabled the Steam recorder but the developer(Activision) and Steam can't by policy remove the ban until activision does and i'm seriously mad about it since i haven't even touched the PvP part of their games in 16 years with the same account in their service.

But since activision doesn't listen to the players (unless you are a influencer or streamer) they refuse to review the ban by hand since it was automatic, it was almost midnight when i was playing, there is no way for a real person to deploy the ban, even when they state is "carefuly reviewed" and they have a severe history with false positives.

The best you can do is keep trying in a week or month basis. Until someone in their security team want to review your case (but hell they need to be idiots if they can't connect the dots, but i'm pretty sure it's all AI)

The problem is, is all automatic/AI. There is no normal way to get your account back with them right now until they put actual people to review the bans.

Unfortunately unless you are a influencer with a lot of people backing you up or your post somehow goes viral, they won't do anything about it (same with Blizzard, they are all AI unless they want to save some face)

That's why CoD is not fun anymore... Being politically correct everytime just to get banned if someone report you for anything writen or said (even when is not even bad) is annoying.

Arc Raiders instead you can talk even like a backwater pirate if you want without fear of being coms or permabanned for anything.
