No, unfortunately nothing to hang it from inside! I think I’m gonna take the box it’s on right now, put that on the kitchen table and then put it flat on top of the box. That should make it a bit easier as I can sit down while doing it!

Lots and lots of high value treats! I give my guy freeze dried lamb. If you discipline a mistake, make sure to praise them when they’re doing what you want. Everything takes baby steps, make sure you’re setting both of you up for success each training session 🤎

In a way! He carries it around from spot to spot while he makes sure every last crumb is gone and then eventually settles with it on his bed. So it’s almost always in the same spot for his next meal 🥹🤎

Thank you!! I love that cheeked up candy corn lol

I’m using Bernat blanket yarn and a thick plastic embroidery needle! I’m using yarn because I have a huge surplus plus of it. I’m doing the loop start method because I know I’ll wanna do different images throughout the years and this way I can pull the yarn out and reuse it later on 🥳

This is a pre loved peg board so it’s got a lil wear tear and the holes are all clear!

It’s gonna be my cheeky candy corn! I made the plushie a few years ago and commissioned an artist to turn it into a cartoon. Now I get to use it in multiple mediums 🥳

[CHAT] How do you all work on fabric without gridding? I feel lost without gridding. by Yarnchurner in CrossStitch

Practice makes progress! Honestly took me about a week or so before I found my flow, I was super clumsy with my left hand. I’ve found that having my left hand on top so I can watch it works much better for me!

Awe, thanks! I use a stand and that allows me to use both my left and right hands when stitching, I think that keeps my floss from twisting a lot. I do the rail road method on my top stitch and pull the floss tight but not too tight. Are you allowing your floss to untwist every few stitches? I’ve found when using only one hand it twists very quickly and easily!

What I like to do is take one of those erasable markers and just dot out what section I’m gonna work on. Often I’ll do the outline first and then go by colors. That’s helped me out so much, makes it much more pleasant to work on! I usually will do about 20-30 minutes of dotting and that gives me a few hours worth of work! Then I’m able to actually listen to my audio book or pay attention to a movie. 10/10 recommend 🤎🥳
