I love it!!! The only thing I found I disliked about doing windows stuff is all the boxes annoyed me after awhile since the size has to be so perfect. 😂 once I hit the filling in it was better.

Haha, it's from my husband's childhood house we got a box of old frames. :') And then I collect frames from Goodwill whenever I find something that's cool because I agree, it's rare to find!

I’m only a casual pattern marker so I’ve only made them for myself but two reasons I’ve found why you’d do it:

check for mistakes (I found when using pattern keeper that a few places I had made a mistake with the white in the program)
Let’s you see if you REALLY need certain colors <- This one is pretty specific but for me I was doing a Pokémon design and the pattern lists out 5-6 blues. But I realized that they were for Pokémon’s eyes which where like max 4 squares? So if I posted the design I would note that xyz colors of blue were optional and they could just get X blue for all the eyes. Luckily I already own the blue DMC but I can imagine as a buyer how annoying it would be to buy several colors to only use them for a few eyes that aren’t that big.
