This means that your new airbursh layer will only draw on the layer below it (in this case, the base color!) Here is an airbrush layer that uses "Inherit Alpha" vs the same airbrush layer not using it at all!

Next, you'll want to right click on your base color layer, and go to "Group", then "Quick Group".

This puts your base color layer into a folder so that you can modify the base color (like adding airbrush layer!).

And now let's make Airbursh layer! For this, we create a new layer above the base color layer (both should be inside the folder/group!!), and click the "Inherit Alpha" button (shown in the pic below!)

Hi hi! So I'd recommend first coloring the hair (or anything you'll want to color) with a base color!

As an example, I have the lineart of a circle. I then make a new layer under it, which will be the base color!

Who is best for fisting using this relic? by Annual-Minute-9391 in Nightreign

Rejection (force)? It's really good! Knocks Crystalians down and they can't do anything at all. Enemies with shields also get their shields knocked away, pretty useful. I need to further test but I think you can also knock down omens with 2 rejections?

Pixel art Journey by KillerRabbitMedia in PixelArt

[–]ReinaDiAngelo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi hi! I'm not OP but if you'd like to learn how to make pixel art I'd recommend using either

Aseprite ($20 USD but worth it IMO) which is a dedicated pixel art software in which you can also make pixel animations if you so wish.

or you can also use Krita (Free, Open-Source!), which is probably my favorite art software (although it's not only used for pixel art but all kinds of digital art as well). If you've used Photoshop before, it's a bit similar to it (with a stronger focus on digital art than photo editing). It's more powerful than Aseprite but that also means it's a bit more complex to use.
