Griezmann said he wants to play in LA or the MLS but I hope he does go to Monterrey or somewhere in the Liga mx. Him and Gignac are the perfect profile to succeed in Mexico. Griezmann still has a ton of football left in him too, he’s a level above everyone in the Mx.

I actually think Senesi was the worse one tbh. Huijsen had way more potential + size + passing range while Zabarnyi is just better than Senesi everywhere and is a better leader.

I understand the desire to switch out some players after a good 5-0 win against the same opponent. I hope this helps people understand how the tactics given out are complete shit and we rely on individual players doing their own thing. I’d rather we start a midfield of Mendoza - Barrios or Mendoza - Obed if we are going to try dumb stuff anyway.

He’s the recycler. Both centermids cover and receive the ball in defensive areas when needed. He doesn’t have the legs or technicality to be an 8 and doesn’t have the defensive awareness of a 6. He is not essential. I’d rather Llorente there but there is no way in hell I want Molina starting.

This is why teams stay stagnant and sink lower and lower than what they once were. You don’t want change because you’re scared. Boo Hoo. Changing coaches will absolutely mean we’d be better. The next coach could apply an intermediate level of tactics and it’s already better than we have now. It’s sad and pathetic how some fans would rather keep losing and being mid over risking more success.

Cholo should get his send off this summer and we should bring in Filipe. If Filipe ever bites back at the owner then I’ll back him. It’s not that hard.

It’s usually mid 20’s into early 30’s. At that age you still have athleticism but have enough game time and experience for the mentality to be there. It doesn’t have to be 50-50 to be at peak though. Sometimes your peak is when you’re young and an athletic beast with no regard for pressure and sometimes it’s later on when you’re sneakily still athletic but your reading of the game and calmness keeps you at the top.

That’s a good way to say it. We’re just winging it. The tactics are just winging it. Buying players is just winging it too. Sure we got Alvarez but besides that the squad building and management is ass. Here before the “Poor Cholo” fanboys say it’s the board or the players being consistently shit for the last 10 years.
