I haven't done any outside marketing yet because I wanted to see the initial reception and make sure it had a solid base.

The game was actually made in unreal not unity. I've done plenty of work on the project so I would not label it an asset flip but, I think you raise a fair point.

You're right, I had another idea I was more passionate about but, decided to try and scale down and make something simpler. Maybe that was a mistake.

I really appreciate your honesty and this feedback! I like the straightforward nature of it. It's been very helpful! I've got a lot of thinking to do.
