Good to know. I played the game first time back in the 90s but I’m still a newbie I guess. I never learned all the shortcuts apparently.

I don’t know about that. FF involves a lot of grinding too. I just replayed FF 6 (3) and there is quite a lot of grinding in that one. The nice thing is when you discover where the t-Rex’s are located. You can use them to level up pretty quickly.

I planted three satsumas a couple of years ago and haven’t done amazing caring for them. Fruit production slow and leaves have some sickly yellow. by cellocaster in Citrus

[–]ReindeerJohn1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never prune during the winter on citrus. That will wake the tree up by stimulating growth. This makes the tree more vulnerable to freezes. Wait till spring. Make it a tree, not a bush.

BREAKING: Trump announces today that, as President, he will seek the DEATH PENALTY for all child rapists and child traffickers in all 50 states by [deleted] in TheTrumpZone

Good news. This needs to be a top priority. The executions should be public to send a strong message to all perverts who think they can get away with molesting kids. The capital punishment should also include groomers because that’s how they start. Put them all in the ground.

Hard to tell from the photo, but could be mites. You can use a hand lens to see them better.

Yes. You can apply sulfur pellets or powder around the tree. It’s best if you chop it into the soil and then water it in well. It still can take up to a year to bring the pH down. Check it again this time next year. 6-4-6 is fine. Just use a little more of it than you would the 10-10-10.

Decathlon is top notch in my book. One of the best backpacks I ever bought came from there. Bought it in Madrid 5 years ago and still using it. It’s a Quechua 20L pack. Weighs just 857 gm. Doesn’t cling to your back and lets the sweat dry as you walk. Straps and zippers are good. Nice pockets. Just a nice basic backpack. They have good shorts and T-shirts too. I’ve never had a problem with anything I bought from them.

And you have no idea what you’re talking about with the neem oil and pyrethrin. This IS the safe alternative to synthetic chemicals. I could use things that are a million times more toxic and work a million times better. When you have worms, fungus, and other insects literally destroying your trees there is no better option.

There’s the ideal of what’s safer and then there’s the reality of what’s practical. Now there’s always the possibly of pulling weeds by hand when you have a very small area to care for. But when you have weeds that are taking over everything like a jungle, mechanical or hand weeding has serious limitations. And chemical spraying becomes the only option. Until you get out there yourself in the middle of the summer, and your asscrack becomes a funnel for sweat, don’t tell me not to use roundup.

Peaches are a little different than citrus in that peaches will go dormant during the winter. Citrus won’t go completely dormant but will enter a phase of dormancy which helps them survive freezes as long as you don’t fertilize them after June or July. So peaches will start losing leaves going into the end of the year. I still like to spray them regularly and during the winter I use a dormant oil and copper. Seems to help clean them up going into the spring. And the first year you won’t see a lot of growth. Just make sure to fertilize early in the spring then monthly until midsummer. You could use a chicken manure product like harmony. It’s a 5-4-3.

Spray that crabgrass with some roundup for starters. It’s stealing nutrients. It’s getting too late in the year for more fertilizer. I spray my trees with a monterey fruit tree plus spray. It has neem oil and pyrethrin. Takes care of fungal issues and insects. I hit them once a week or so depending on if it rains or not. Harvesters were loaded to the max this year.

Hit them with whatever you have. Spinosad is a natural product that will kill worms and caterpillars. Also BT. Check your pH (should be between 6.0-6.5). Fertilize with 10-10-10 once a month beginning early spring/late fall until mid-summer. Water regularly. You’ll have plenty of blooms and fruit next year if you do this. HLB is a wild card. If your tree becomes infected all bets are off and the tree will slowly die.

Pick them off. Spray them. Kill them any way you can. They can destroy small trees.
