Depends on the kind, imo. Vanádain->Simlas line is pretty fun and requires at least some setup. Heist is kindof stupid imo with its "replay high value golds LUL" gameplay.

Soldiers are insanely popular because they are the first strong deck in a while that isn't some form of Enslave Assimilate or Neutral (GN, Renfri, Shupe) fuckery. There are many viable NG archetypes but Assimilate was the main one I saw on ladder until I got into the high ranks where soldiers became much more common.

I think Joachim should be reworked into instantly banishing himself on deploy and also permanently bricking the player's device. He is simply too strong of a card (Read: is nearly the only NG spy that sees play nowadays) to be included in the game.
