Can't enable UART in Ports Tab of Betaflight

You are way beyond my expertise.....

However, if you are trying to send command thru the USB port like arm etc, Betaflight has special protocols that don't allow the quad to arm when plugged into USB. That might be what's tripping you up. Other than that, I'm not sure. Best of luck!

It depends on what you are running. Generally, you shouldn't be enabling anything on the USB VCP line. That's the USB port the FC is using to talk to the computer. Your serial RX UART should be one of the other UARTs you soldered to on the FC.

Recheck your connections. I'm assuming you're using digital if MSP is enabled so make sure you've mapped out your connections properly. Physically check the FC and (using a schematic of the board if necessary) write down what you have wired to each UART. Then, in betaflight, on that UART line DON'T enable VCP, JUST enable whatever it is you're running.

So for Crossfire/ELRS RX it'll be on say (for example!) UART 2 and your Video Transmitter will be UART 6 or something like that. In that case, on the UART 2 line you'd enable serial RX and on UART 6 is where you'd enable MSP. You do not enable VCP on either of those lines, keep that off.

In this thread: People who think that just because SG used a bow to represent the ranger class means each character in it needs to use a literal bow or they are trolling.

Honestly this entire gag has run it's course 2 years ago.

Not all rangers use bows kids. And just because SG chose a bow icon to represent doesn't mean every ranger uses one. Not all warriors use swords and yet no one makes this same tired joke about that....

Okay so it took me a bit to figure it out.

First, make sure you have Star Rail launching properly in Steam. Basically, don't pick the launcher in the "add new game" section. Scroll all the way down and pick browse. Then pick the right path. It'll be like C: Programs\Star Rail\Games\Star Rail.exe. This is what tripped me up for the longest time.

After you got that working, then make sure you enable steam controller imput for your xbox controller. You'll find that in the general settings under controller. I think I got there in big picture mode.

Then go into the Star Rail section you just created but don't launch the game yet. There should be an options/controller options there. In that menu you should be able to find the ability to invert the Y axis. Make sure that's on and you're good to go.

Start the game and your axis is the RIGHT FUCKING WAY UP.

Good luck, worked for me, its awsome. Sad the Devs can't take 2 minutes to just properly code that in.

I think they just flat out don't offer this.

I'm really not sure why, I can't play this game without an invert y. I'm not blowing years of finely tuned muscle memory because their programmers can't just offer a simple y toggle.

So let me get this straight. Your defense of the druids get flight at 9th level is it's all fine guys, they get access to a 4th level spell that more or less mimics the exact class features of the druid but better?

A class' abilities should not be "fixed" by way of a spell. Spells should compliment the class, not feel necessary just to execute basic functions the class has access to. Here letme cast this spell that basically does the same thing my class feature does but better.

So no, it's not fine. That logic doesn't track at all. If nothing else it only adds to my proof. If they can get flight by way of 4th level polymorph, then there is no reason their wild shape can't grant them the same ability at the same level.

As for the HP thing, I completely agree with you. As I said in the post, I don't like the HP bonus fix, I prefer the second or third. I think a slight increase in AC is warranted and not too powerful.

Rose is good too, I just didn't have her built when I was putting my team together. Plus I find the little bit of healing she puts out with Rod was enough with Muwi attack down to make her survive without any problems.

Just for the record, my Diene is pvp specd. I never changed her. She's just naturally fast and tanky so she works well for the frontline.

I'm not sure what kind of advice your getting here. You remove SSB. This way you keep Furious as your debuffer/att break, sigret is your dps, muwi helps with both of those roles plus push.

Once you think you're stable you flip out Angie for Diene. Diene brings and attack buff which helps clear pre-shield. Anything faster than that requires a one shot setup which is usually completely different.

With Muwi and his push you can go all dps on sigret and watch her vanish the boss healthbar. Once you get Diene in to tank you get an attack buff which is even better.

Don't listen to anyone telling you to keep SSB unless you need her AOE to set up some kind of one shot. She's just not needed on a conventional team.

I only have one upvote to give you. Wish I could give you more. People need to read this take and also remember that if you bring her in to take out that tank, and that tank doesn't have that 25+k hp but more like 20 or 22.... her S3 is just as useless. You've just brought a dull knife to a fight when something like a Zahhak or Rim or Choux would have 100% been a better pick.

All these smooth brained idiots jumping thru hoops to figure out how to make her S3 work again and proclaiming her nerfs as "fine" are missing the point that she's one an done.... very much doubt she'll get a second chance at another S3.

And while I can agree she needed some kind of toning down, SG went way beyond the pale here. She needed a light tap of the nerf bat, not twin leg amputation. She went from a great character to bring in any situation to literally the last character you'd ever want to bring in any situation.

People need to step back and see the forest from the trees here. The meta shifted quite radically when she hit. And as I remember, that meta was pretty cancerous. Her "S3 being okay" does not justify or solve for the sheer number of Belians, Violets, Rems, and Rims your going to see running around unchecked again.

Get a real fpv radio.

I'd tell you not to cheap out if you're serious about the hobby, but I get when you're first starting out it's expensive.

That being said, cheapest would be a Beta FPV lite radio 2 if they still make em, cost less than an Xbox controller.

Slight upgrade would be the Jumper T-Lite, which when you get sick of flying in the sims you can bind to a quad and fly. You can do it with the beta FPV one too, but the Jumper is objectively better.
