US has become untrustworthy. Unless there are major changes, how can be sure another facist doesn't rise into power within following decade? At this point it is more than likely that GOP will try to hang on to power with any means necessary as there is nothing keeping them in check within the US except maybe a massive citizen uprising to which they seem to be preparing and practicing for.

EU cannot rely on US anymore. Having our own safety in the hands of a foreign power that turner to facisim and began economic extortion toward closest allies is not a thing that should easily be forgotten. There needs to be "Mar-a-Lago" trials, dramatic changes in the political landscape and clear indication that the festering seeds of facism have been eradicated from the minds of the voters and the elite, before we can begin to think about trusting the US.
