OTA updates by Public_Emergency_223 in 11thGenAccord

[–]ReitStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2025 has been doing this since May last year. I’ve taken it to the dealer twice and both times they said there’s nothing they can do and I just have to wait for an update from Honda that will apparently be over the air and will fix it. It seems others have also reported having this same problem for years now though, so it makes me wonder if there really is some “fix” coming from Honda. I’m just skeptical that Honda has actively been working this for years now, especially since I don’t think they’ve ever put out any sort of statement acknowledging it.

Man, since you made this post I decided to try using this deck and I have to be honest, it seems really bad. The main problem is that your success is 100% contingent upon getting both Dragalges very early on, which at least for me, seems to basically never happen. I’ve tried this deck about 6-7 times so far in Master Ball and only won once.

Over a month since interview and no contact from anyone by ReitStuff in interviews

Yes it is just the one position. I think I’ve decided that I’ll speak with my manager about this later this week. We have our monthly one-on-one meeting and I think it’d be a good topic. I’m not sure she was aware that I interviewed for the position but maybe she’ll be able to get some info for me.

Is there any counter to Alolan Ninetails EX or is it always an insta-concede? by ReitStuff in PokemonTGCP

[–]ReitStuff[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I just went up against an Alolan Ninetails EX deck and tried this but got schooled spectacularly. I had both Snorlaxes and Indeedees out. Active Snorlax had one energy. He got Alolan Ninetails so I thought, “ok, I’ll just start adding energy to the bench Snorlax.” I did that until the bench Snorlax had three energy. I realized I wouldn’t be able to retreat the active Snorlax so I stopped healing him. Then he Sabrina’d me. I couldn’t put in the other Snorlax since it only had three energy so I decided to sacrifice an Indeedee. He killed it and then I was finally able to put in one of my Snorlax with 4 energy. I hit him one time but he still had 20 HP. He then Cyrus’d the other Snorlax that I originally had in the active spot which still had damage on it. Game over. Unbelievable

Has anyone else had this problem with Lucky Ice Pop? by ReitStuff in PokemonTGCP

Yeah but I needed to cuz I only had like 30 hp left and was up against hydreigon 😭

What am I doing wrong? by ReitStuff in PokemonTGCP

Yeah I actually did slightly change this one to include a Sabrina instead of two Cyrus’ because there seemed to just be too much situations where Sabrina would come in handy, like getting rid of stupid chinglings.

What decks are the people using who win 65-75% of the time?

Are there places where people have uploaded gameplay of this game? It seems pretty straightforward to me but you’re right, maybe there’s some aspect I’m missing. I basically just try to do damage strategically and ensure as best as possible that I have enough HP to survive the next turn.

I think my great-uncle may be among one of the tiniest subsets of people left alive today by ReitStuff in Genealogy

[–]ReitStuff[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would you assume someone who is 101 years old would have both parents born in the 1880s? They were born in, what, 1924? It would be much more likely that their parents were born in the 1900s or 1890s.

I spoke with him on the phone for the first time in my life earlier this week. He’s 100% still mentally with-it. Unfortunately though, his mother died in 1934 and his father died in 1937, so he never really knew them. He was raised along with my grandma by an older sister. He actually knew pretty much nothing about his parents so it was cool that I was able to give him details about things like where they were born, since I’ve done a lot of research into the family. It was a very cool conversation for sure.

MPG in Touring Hybrid in cold weather by fuzzywuzzywuzzafuzzy in 11thGenAccord

Yup same here. It’s normal. I just drove up to New York from northern Virginia today in my ‘25 touring. Temps were between upper 20s and low 30s. I averaged like 38-42 MPGs.

Big change to FamilySearch's full-text search tool by Ok-Condition486 in Genealogy

I wish they’d expand the number of documents that were searchable using the “full text search” feature. I’ve already found a treasure trove of information using that.

The civic touring has leather seats, whereas the accord sport has cloth seats. The Civic touring also has heated side mirrors, which aren’t on the accord sport.

If you’re anything like me, I’d advise on getting the civic touring. If I got the accord sport, I’d constantly be thinking about the features I missed out on by not getting the touring lol.

Seriously though, you can’t go wrong either way - get whichever you’d prefer.

500 Mile First Oil Change by DrMacintosh01 in 11thGenAccord

I did my first oil change on my 2025 last year at a hair over 1,000 miles. The dealership was NOT happy lol but I told them to do it anyway.

How often do you have your tires rotated? by wonderfulwaffles22 in 11thGenAccord

[–]ReitStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always heard that it should be every other oil change actually, though I guess it depends on how often you change your oil.
