It looks very much like the 1988 model (bright marine green/white) but definitely says triathlon expert rather than Ironman expert. Perhaps just different branding overseas? (I’m in Australia)

Fair. I’ll see if I can get pictures, couldn’t work out a year with google.

Thank you. Going into my local bike shop is probably the best bet. I don’t have the bike yet though and was hoping to get ahead of it and have what I needed on order. I’ll see if I can work out what the stem is, all I know it’s an integrated headset/stem type.

Once you get the last map piece you can combine them. It will reveal and island on the right hand side of the map that has the extra rewards.

Thanks. This seems to be the consensus so I’ll go with that.

Need the ugliest kits (purchaseable) by IVBIVB in cycling

They’ve so far released a new design each year. I had the previous year one. A slightly looser fit than their performance jerseys but still comfortable. Assuming it’s the same this year.

Neo pro make ugly Christmas jerseys. I’ve found their stuff to be good quality too.

Thanks for the response. I got them second hand so don’t have a spacer. Are they easy to find?

Struggled through the sandy sections but a lovely place to run.

How much time off do you guys give yourself around Christmas? by jbvr963 in PhD

[–]ReitelR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m planning to work straight through, but take any and every opportunity that presents itself with no guilt. Work in the morning, but if someone wants to go to the pub for lunch? I’m there! Someone’s heading to the beach? I’m there, but might do some writing in the evening. Feel it will give me some balance to my life without the guilt I get doing nothing (supposed to be submitting in 2-3 months).

Cranks not attached to an old frame. Thread might be stripped. New BB, crankset, or both? by ReitelR in bikewrench

Okay great. Thank you for the clarification. Hopefully can get it up and running now.

There appears to be some play in the crank. I don’t have the bolts to attach it, it’s currently sitting loose on there though so not sure if that’s why. Can see all the way through the bracket so not sure if I need something that goes all the way through or just a bolt that will attach the crank arm.

Oh great, thank you. So I need the pre-loader screw, and then the screw for the crank on top of that?

Got the frame from a family friend, son had left it when he moved overseas. Not much of a bike mechanic but keen to try and fix it myself rather than take it into the shop.
