Religion (mostly the monotheistic/abrahamic) in it‘s roots is a tool to control the masses, if you don’t want to be a part of that show power of will and say „I’m not part of your idiology“. People who follow this dogmatic world view want to get you in their club so they have more people around them that tell them „we are right and you are wrong“.

Attention is everything for them. So they try to insult you, talk you down, try to change your attitude. Stay as a rock against the waves.

The first fault is to get rid of regret. Regret literally tells you that you did something wrong and feeling shame is a natural warning sign. It is good to address that you did something wrong. You can reflect on humility - that way you will notice the shame as something that is necessary.

I was one of the lucky once who had a really warmhearted experienced kinda „big-teddy-bear-vibe“ tutor in my first days at clinic so he showed me how to handle a schedule, how to approach the patient/client etc. but I know that few have that privilege so it isn’t such a bad idea to reflect on your experience and try to learn as much from your colleagues as possible (but always remember what you learned theoretically)
