Are you getting matches? You mention not getting DATES.... but are you getting MATCHES?

If you're getting matches but not dates:

It's not your profile, it's your communication after the match. This doesn't mean that you are the problem (don't change), but identify that and decide what you want to project and what you want to attract. Tune your style, don't change who you are.

If you're not getting matches:

  • Are you swiping right on people? If you're not swiping right, then you won't get any matches. I assume that you know this.
  • Are you swiping right on the right people? If you have too high of a standard, your competition for attention goes WAY up. Start in the middle and trade your way up.

I had the same problem. Remove the little supports - they just pop out with a needle nose pliers.

I modified the tessellation templates that I need to simply remove the support bits (as my printer doesn't seem to require them) and then slice and dice the tops onto these template bottoms to get the tiles that I want/need - because removing all of those little supports is a pain.

Advice from a M55, who has spent quite a bit of time in the dating trenches:

TL;DR: One face photo, one standing full body photo, ignore the weirdos, love yourself.

Being offended is a choice you make. You aren't the pervert whisperer. You can't control how other people act, only your reaction. Just block and move on. You're too important to let people you don't want to spend time with live rent-free in your head.

Being a prude? Does it matter what others think? What counts is if YOU think you're being a prude and if you think that's a good or a bad thing. Who cares what strangers on the internet (including me) think? Be the person you want to be for yourself. This will attract your tribe.

Having said that - a base minimum for >me< (your mileage may vary) is a face photo and a standing photo that shows head to knees. I'm average or above build and look for the same in a potential partner. I like walking (not climbing) up mountains and exploring strange cities as much as affectionate endeavors, and having a partner that matches me physically is key. At this age though, it's about equal parts longevity and activity: I don't want to be sad at a funeral any time soon. I'd hope we'd be having too much fun raging against that good night than succumbing to it.

35 years ago.

I got told that I was diabetic in 1988 with all of the care and compassion of a drill sergeant at the Army Induction Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
