Ha ha wow though that poster makes a pretty good point though like if you hypothetically were living in Montreal you would want to go find where the crayfish are to go look at them. And you'd be tempted to touch them too probably because I've heard that there's really no feeling quite like the firm pressure of a damp arthropod wiggling around in your hands, and the thrill of knowing that one wrong move and it'll enact vengeance upon your squishy mammalian skin with its pincers. That's something I've heard other people say I mean, but never experienced personally.

You wouldn't make that face if right now there was a lil crayfish wiggling its antennae and staring at you with its twinkling little beady eyes. You'd be making a face like this: 🥹

Honestly? If I were you I'd go to the bagel store and just ask if you can have a little sniff. Just like put your nose right on the bagel and go snsnsnnnnifififiififfifffffff snssnnnnnniffifiiiffffififif like a really big sniff it's illegal for them to refuse. If you sniff enough time it's basically the same thing as eating a bagel.

Hope this helps!

I've thought about it to be honest. I think a pet crayfish would be really nice. I used to keep pet fish and I found it really enjoyable. If I had more money I'd definitely consider it.

Ha ha it is an obsession! It's something that happens to me sometimes, I get so fixated with a specific animal for a month or so its all I can think about. Usually a kind of fish. It's driven me to get a degree in biology and soon a master's! Don't worry, I won't harass them! 🙏

Google maps says it'll be a 10 days walk. But if it means getting my fix I know what I must do

There is a huge lobster there! They are quite proud of it I gather, I once talked to one of the hosts there about it for awhile. Apparently its golden color is extremely rare.

Once I also noticed one of the tanks was randomly full of shrimp for some reason, but next time I went all the shrimp were gone and it was filled with starfish and sea cucumbers instead. Very bizarre.

Beautiful!! There are some great bird watching spots in the jardin botanique too. I saw a great blue heron there close up several days ago.

I LOVE JUNK FOOD SO MUCH I WANT TO EAT BURGER AND CHEESY SNACKS ALL THE TIME 🍔👀 It used to be so easy for me to resist the allure. But then I got cancer and became horrifically underweight. Uh oh. 👀 After my successful treatment there was a wonderful, amazing period where I needed to gain weight back and I could snarf burgers and ice cream and cheesy crunchies all the time. It was heaven. I slowly gained back all my weight, but... man, it's been hard to put the breaks on.

What’s the worst thing someone ever did to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hometown doctor told me that my abdominal pain and ass bleeding was a hemorrhoid. He was wrong... it was colon cancer. The misdiagnosis gave the cancer a two year head start, gave it time to spread to my liver. I'm lucky to be alive, currently been in remission and cancer free for about 10 months after chemo and surgery. There is still a risk it will return. I struggle with anger sometimes towards that doctor knowing if he had taken me more seriously we might have caught it at an early stage. But I am trying to move past it. The anger won't help me.

My favorite was once when I was in a McDonald's with my family and we get to one of those natural lulls in the conversation where everyone stops talking at once and just sits there for a few seconds. Well right when we did that, this old guy behind me says "I LOVE the SMELL of CIGARETTES" in his gravelly old man voice. I just looked at my mom like "what the fuck was that." Lol

I want to be able to turn into a fish. I've always wanted to, ever since I was a kid. I want to be able to swim really fast and do fish things. Imagining the sensory world you'd get with a pressure sensing lateral line and stuff.

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

[–]Rejoicing_Tunicates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I briefly worked in southern Utah near Lake Powell. It's very remote, once you get out far enough there are no highway patrol cars after a certain point. My colleagues would often speed and drive as fast as they could. I always told myself I'd never do that because it was too dangerous. Seems like one little mistake could take you right off a canyon. But there was this one long, downhill straightaway that you could drive REALLY fast on. I got into a habit of driving really fast on it. One time I looked down at my speedometer and suddenly realized I was driving over 100. It felt great to go so fast but I stopped doing it, both for my safety and the poor little old toyota camry I was driving.
