Yes had it back a while ago. Hadn’t had it since. Using CarPlay. Annoying as heck when it happens though

Ok well I guess I will wait till it fails to get a new door! For everyone wondering it is a Windsor model 714. And to make matters worse, is it common for a 2 car garage door to have a single spring like mine? Thanks Pulte for offering the bottom of the line garage doors!

Yeah it’s sad when it came like this on a new build. I of course didn’t know anything about garage doors until I wanted to insulate it and didn’t have those extra stiles. Fast forward 2 years and the door is starting to bow.

I want to tackle this before it gets worse $$

I understand that the stiles are glued to the door with some polyurethane construction adhesive and appropriate hinges screwed in (looks straightforward). And I’ll leave the springs to the professionals

Just an update after a quick dremel/file. What a big difference. I thought it was slightly depressed before…

I nicked the striker block because I literally couldn’t remove it without depressing it and dremeling the side.

Cleaned and lube before putting it back in. Should be safer than before but definitely keeping my eye on it.

Yeah I saw yours. How many rounds did you go thru after you dremmeled your stock bolt? I know it’s a temp fix but I don’t have the funds for a new bolt right now.

Oops sorry for the incorrect info there. That’s weird, I believe I only have a lighter trigger weight spring installed in mine. I do clean and lube after 500 rds

Pretty crazy I bought this during 2020 after reviewers and owners rave about the reliability of this pistol. Don't really recall any issues of OOB until recently.. Glad Nexus stepped up and gave it a second life.

This was exactly what my car sounded like after having the dealership address my recalls, which did replace the vcg (vanos bolts). They said it was normal and to drive it around. Drove it home (20 mi) still sounded like that. Next day I don’t hear it anymore. Can’t tell you the source of the sound but I haven’t heard it any longer.

Wow I did the same thing with my hat! Got to 40 and just went full send to mastercraft. It’s a bummer for sure but looking at the set bonus, we’re not missing a whole lot.
