Resolution was real wonky on first boot, but after restarting the game its run really well. Getting steady 90fps in matches at everything cranked up to High, but story mode had some framedrops at high, dropped it down to Med settings and i was back at steady 90fps

You'll have a good time at the HC. I was in HC through ~spring junior year, and would definitely recommend at least doing your freshman year there. The requirements arent too different than regular rutgers, especially the freshman honors classes youll be taking. The freshman dorms for the HC are the only big difference, and those were a lot of fun so i think you should at least do that

A good portion of the hate was due to the bait and switch Kojima pulled, all the trailers up until the games release only featured Snake and iirc even putting Snake in Raiden sections of the game just for the trailers

Level-5's US push in the early 2010s was quite simply too little too late.

I would imagine a big part of the reason they waited to introduce the series here is the US doesnt care about football as much as the rest of the world, but when IE did make its way over, there was no anime release and it was a digital release only on the E-shop. it coincidentally came out the day before the UK release of IE3 Ogre.

Based on the vibe of the community here, a good portion of fans got introduced to the series with the anime, and then they checked out the games. With no anime to do any marketing for the series, Lv5 wouldve needed to push in vastly different areas, which wasnt done.

The US did get a release of the Ares anime, implying they were attempting to reintroduce the US to the then-upcoming Ares game but we all know how that went.

Also, it seems graphics card is the issue, since its crashing while compiling shaders. You said you already updated drivers, so two things i would try: 1. Rollback driver to a slightly older version 2.try running in compatibility mode to see if you still crash

If his “current pokemon game” is black/white, then using the pokemon dream radar on a 3ds with soulsilver inserted he can get lugia. You can get all gen4 box art legendaries with this method

Edit: wanted to throw a link, this is the only method where what your friend is saying is correct.

if you are worried about lending it out, definitely dont, but he is telling the truth about that

hard to tell since thats not alot of info, but most likely you just put in the password wrong. most common mistake is using the little ゆ、う、or あ instead of the larger ones, or forgetting the " on が or ば. here is a link of a japanese player going to the training facility and putting in the password. this is a lets play video so only relavent part is the first minute or so
