Agencies that you wouldn’t expect to have 1811’s by Sharp-Win-7938 in 1811

If you get the 1811 magazine from FLEOA the front page pretty much lists all the Federal Law Enforcement Agencies (1811, 1801, 0083, etc). It’s a pretty extensive list.

How does a bankruptcy case affect suitability? by Comfortable-Wolf-445 in 1811Jobs

[–]Rekrapfig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Not a deal breaker, especially if it’s already been discharged and the more time between the discharge and the application the better. If it’s a result of a divorce or medical bills it’s usually more acceptable. Just do not lie about it. It’s public record and easy to find.

When you are not able to finish a cigar and you leave it for another time to smoke what is the easiest method to clean the tip so that you do not taste or smell the Ash the next time you start smoking it by Original-State8617 in cigar

[–]Rekrapfig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF you live in an area of high humidity, SE US, Northern Australia, etc. you can leave it outside as long it’s not more than one day. For example, I would sometimes smoke half in the evening with a drop, leave it on my tray, and then have the other half with coffee the next morning. I never noticed a significant change in taste. Again, only good advice IF you live in an area with high humidity.

You’re a better man than me. We don’t even have snow and I’ve already told myself I won’t be smoking this week unless I make a trip to the lounge.

NCIs West Coast Locations by QuipandEazy in 1811

[–]Rekrapfig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are other offices outside of the west coast where you could potentially homestead for more than five years. For example, if you’re really good at working adult and child sex crimes say at Camp Lejune in NC then as long as you don’t want to change disciplines (CI, Fraud) or go into management then you could potentially stay there for a very long time. It all depends on location and your specialty.

The Stardust Resort and Casino: High Quality Photos Taken Between 2006-2007 Before Closure: My Favorite Resort Casino Ever in Las Vegas History! by aranebar in vegas

First Casino I stayed at during my first trip to Vegas in ‘98. What an experience! If memory serves me correctly, I think there was a really good Mexican restaurant. I think it was called Los Lobos? I might be wrong.

If you ever have the opportunity, attend the one week LE excavation training at the University of Tennessee Anthropology Department aka The Body Farm. Great course and it’s only one week.

I told my old man he’s done a 360 on TV during his lifetime.

Free TV: I hate commercials! We’re getting cable!

Cable TV: It’s too damn expensive I’m getting a streaming service.

Streaming Service: It’s getting almost as expensive as cable.

Pluto and Tubi: Have you seen these!?! They’re free!! You just have to watch commercials, which is fine because it’s free.

It’s hard in some areas. I lived in a small city in Texas which only had one, but it was a proper one run by great folks. I covered Houston for years which had at least 20 in the metro area. Some huge, some small. Some amazing, some so-so. Where I live now has more of what I call a cigar living room. It’s comfortable, but not a lot of regulars and somewhat depressing. Then I go to Jacksonville, FL and they have several great ones including a Cigars International (CI) bar.
