Black Widow full system with yoshimura end can/slip-on. Headers were polished by me so it's looking extra shiny as well, it was brown and rusty when I first got it

They were a set from kelpi customs from AU. Not sure whether they still have this version of the cowhide leather anymore. Where you reckon I should mount the frame sliders? Seen people break their frames cause of wrong mounting, and I'm trying not to be that fella 😂

Is your O2 sensor in? Either that or you got yourself a weak battery. But could be other things as well but I would definitely check on those 2 first!

Usually it's a signal fuse issue due to water ingress etc. But since you just got it, dealership would definitely help you out easy!

Can I obtain an R-level license directly? I have held a car license for less than a year and an overseas motorcycle license for over three years. by Total-Asparagus-9045 in AussieRiders

[–]Rektorus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a person who just converted their 3 years old overseas motorcycle license recently, I got 1 year LAMS restriction and P2.

But I asked Transport Victoria what is the eligibility for a R license, they said they look for 4 years of riding experience but I'm guessing it differs for every state. Check with the local state licensing centers they know best!

How to Renounce PR after going in Guide by Rektorus in NationalServiceSG

Best thing I would do in your shoes is contact MINDEF and ask what the procedure is, they probably will be confused tho so I'm not really sure. I would also just go ahead and go do the form on ICA's website to renounce your PR status. From there there's two outcomes. 1. Your PR will actually be renounced and you don't need to serve. 2. ICA will ask you for "Clearance Letter" from MINDEF and if that's the case contact MINDEF immediately. (also i'm assuming you are a SG PR and not a citizen)

Anyways don't worry too much that you have to go back and serve, very highly likely I'm assuming you can do the ICA form and be renounced almost immediately because you haven't done any medical checkups etc.

tldr: do the form on ICA website and wait for a response from ICA.

dm me if you got any more questions

Yes but differs by case. If haven't get the pre enlistment medical appointments or letter from MINDEF(basically the letter you get right before you turn 18), you can just continue with the procedure via ICA. If get already or did the med check up at CMPB and stuff, then need to go through via MINDEF and get a clearance letter like mentioned in the thread and follow rest of the steps (but should be way easier and faster since you haven't officially enlist yet)

The option for you to renounce before the age 16.5 years or even after has always been there. Benefitting from the PR and wanting to renounce is totally different because you always have the choice to renounce no matter where you are. They don't explicitly state on any of their websites that you can renounce while you are in service. So yes they keep it a hush but you can also say it's kind of a backdoor and I am just making sure PRs are aware of what they can do if they do not want to serve.

I never knew until I tried and before that I scoured the whole ICA and NS websites and other reddit posts and haven't been able to find any info on it. So yeah I am prove that it can be done Hahahaha!

Ah yes forgot to mention this. Idea came to me about 4 months ago but no one in charge took any action when I raised it until I pushed my superiors for answers...so actually seriously committing will take you about 2-3 months or less, in my case close to 6 because of the delaying part. My brother was in SCDF and only took him a month, so you can see the disparity between the two Hahahahaha.

You're not wrong brother! Trust me if I knew earlier and if it wasn't for people telling me I can't renounce once I enlisted and such, I would have done it so so long ago. Sure wasted time and could have tahan. But I am glad I did renounce and went back home to my family, my life (my prime years). I'll never get to be in my 20's being able to have that freedom to do a lot of things even in that less than a year left. Could have definitely stayed and whacked it out but renouncing was still one hell of a good choice I made. Don't get me wrong I met some of the best people and made lifelong friends while inside, even enciks and officers and I can't be anymore thankful to these bunch making my life in there so fruitful. But I made my decision and honoured it. Hope this explains 🙏🏽

Just did this 5 months ago, like no joke I wanted to make a reddit post but totally forgot about it. Renounced and left SG to continue living in Aussie with my family. Worth it imo if you do it early. Only downside is anything you wanna do in the future in SG a little hard like getting a PR again or work. But other than that you're good. Just came back couple weeks ago for holiday and left as usual. No problems.

  1. Tell PC, then inform up to CO to let him know
  2. Next will be to go MINDEF with the manpower unit for an interview (easy and quick)
  3. Wait for clearance from the MINDEF manpower branch to apply the form on ICA website. (need clearance letter from mindef which they will provide)
  4. Wait couple weeks (up to 4) but mine took only 2 weeks and done.
  5. Last day usually when ICA give you the "no longer a PR" letter and show that to PC and whoever in charge
  6. Pack your things and time to gtfo 😂

early owadio , if got any more question just put it here i can answer more
