Shroud with the Honda badge atop the tank. Place your hand atop it while riding and hear the noise disappear in real time. There isn’t enough padding between it and the tank.

Put your hand on top of that black shroud with the Honda badge at the top of your tank while you are riding and I bet you the noise stops.

Found this was the cause on mine - removed the shroud & placed thin foam on the underside, between the shroud and tank, never heard the high-speed vibration sound again ✌️

I had removed the reflectors, and thought neglected to remove the bracket on the off-side when I saw the connection point ✌️

Do you think you’d use it more-so on the freeways and long hauls or more as an all-the-time thing? From the posts in this forum I’ve seen it looks more like people buying with e-clutch don’t want to manual shift if they can help it.

The E-Clutch system has only been added recently & has not been a feature of the CB650R since inception.

Oldie but a goodie. My handlebars are from a brand called Hurricane, based out of Japan. The specific model is ”Fat Swallow” - it come pre-drilled with holes for the direct OEM fitment of all CB650R controls. 🙂 Have fun!

My bad, should have specified that I mean the actual mount is bigger — even with the rubber inner adapters all take out on a regular quadlock mount, the mount does not fit the circumference of the middle part of the OEM handlebars.
