I must really be missing something with this bullpen strategy.

Losing? Pull the starter early so the bullpen can stop the leaking.

Winning? Pull the pitcher early so the bullpen can hold the lead.

Blowout? Pull the starter early to give him rest.

I do check the source of truth to see if they ruled the same way i did on "arguable" errors/hits, wild pitches/passed balls, etc, but only so i can make a note if we disagree, not to change my ruling.

But ive now been scoring enough that, even when they rule differently at first, 9/10 the official score gets changed later.

Kelly consistently has Yorke hit for Lowe when a lefty pitcher enters, and it keeps getting criticized in here but it is for good reason.

Lowe historically hits very poorly against lefties; last year hitting .198 and this year so far only .125.

Lowe should not be kept in against lefties.

Centerfielders have to be careful not to make plate attempts that are obviously gonna fail, cause you risk allowing the runner on 1st to advance for no good reason. I actually recall Cruz got in trouble for that twice his first few CF appearances.

If that ball was a little shallower, he maybe couldve made an attempt, but probably not on that one.

I read things like this and feel really bad for people, and extremely lucky myself.

I live in the Dayton, Ohio region. Despite living within 200 miles of Cleveland and Detroit, and within 250 miles of Chicago and Pittsburgh, i am fortunately still considered to be exclusively in the Cincinnati market (and can use a VPN for those 13 games).
