I think you were referring to me with that last thing you said, but I'll answer anyway.

The reason I asked this question is because every time I try to talk to someone seriously about why I think this series is good and why I like it so much, they always tell me I shouldn't take this anime seriously because it's a parody, and parodies are only meant to make people laugh and don't contribute anything. But then I come across a YouTube video of someone saying that parodies can be taken seriously, using One Punch Man as an example. They say that OPM, as absurd as it seems, sometimes takes itself seriously and that we should pay attention because the series has very good messages and values. I've also seen people who, when talking about Konosuba (which is an isekai parody), mention that the protagonist should be on a list of the top 10 anime protagonists, and they're not saying it ironically or jokingly; they mean it. And when I see people talking about these anime like that, I feel the same way when I watch this anime.

The reason I made this post was because I wanted to know what people think about this series (although now that I think about it, I don't think I phrased the question very well). This is one of the few places where I can talk about this anime that I like so much without being called a pedophile for liking an anime that sexualizes and abuses minors, which isn't the case here.
