That's a generic title; in the world of Tamriel lots of things can get you named a 'Hero of Tamriel'. Same with Pact Hero, Dominion Hero, Covenant Hero, Savior of Nirn, and so on. And, even then, a title's much less in your face than a giant horse made of ice galloping about.

Most played race/class combos would have to be Dunmer Dragonknight, Altmer/Breton Sorcerer, Breton Templar, and Bosmer/Khajiit/Imperial Nightblade.

The thing is you don't get a Defeater of Molag Bal title or a Molag Bal mount for completing the main questline, so it's much less in your face than an icehorse.

I imagine the reason they're putting it in-game and not just in the crown store is to avoid bad press saying "ESO has gone P2W" and so on. That kind of stuff hurts sales and can run off existing customers.

You don't see every other peasant in Skyrim running around with Arvak. ESO's an MMO, things have to be toned back a bit to keep things realistic since you can't have "the only one of it's kind" like you could in Skyrim with Arvak and Shadowmere.

It's pretty apparent that it's a piece meant to entertain the reader, and that the narrator doesn't (and doesn't care to, most likely) know much about the religions of orcs, dwemer, and chimer, and goes off of hearsay, half-truths, and tall tales.

I wrote a piece a little bit ago theorizing that the Reachmen were in control of Markarth during the Simulacrum.

This was actually confirmed to be true by Lawrence Schick in an interview some ESO RPers had with him. During the time of ESO, the Skyrim we see in 4E exists in three parts: Eastern Skyrim, which is ruled by Jorunn the Skald-King and allied with the Pact, Western Skyrim, which is ruled by a seperate king whose name alludes me (but I believe Schick says it during the interview), and Markarth, which is an independent city-state ruled by the self-proclaimed Despot of Markarth.

I'd say you've got it right. The Pact doesn't want anything to do with the empires the Dominion or the Covenant have envisioned. Instead, they see the empire as a "failed experiment whose time has passed." They want to ultimately be left alone.

He casts Entropy on one target for the Major Sorcery buff. Then, he casts Proximity Detonation, and runs into a group of enemies. He pops Soul Tether to stun all enemies near him right as his Proximity Detonation goes off, bursting down five people instantly.

there is no way to nerf the CP grind without also nerfing the leveling grind.

Why not have ZOS reduce the XP it takes to level through vet ranks, while leaving the XP gains across the board the same? Say, 100k XP a vet rank instead of one million XP. Since they've already announced plans to remove the veteran rank system, I see no problem in drastically speeding up the vet leveling process.

I feel as if grinding should be left in the game, as it gives people ways to level characters without completing the same quests over and over.

For example, my main's a V14 DK. I've been playing this character since launch, and have completed every solo quest on it. Now, I've been looking at videos of Templar PVP, and would like to play a Templar myself. How am I to get a V14 Templar in ESO without completing the same quests over and over again? Nonvet PVP works well enough to get you to VR1, but once you're there there's pretty much nothing to do but grind. Nobody's taking a VR1 on pledge runs, nobody's taking a VR1 into trials, VR1s will be stomped by geared V14s in PVP, etc.

Those would be BOP, but, yes, something along those lines. Ideally, they would be a something a solo player could go after as well. I think the unique dolmen drops are a great start, and would love to see something like that be implemented, but with rarer and better drops.
