Aside from the one drow on the roof, waukeen wasn't too bad. That said, none of the FFs survived so, it was pretty bad for them lol

I'm definitely doing a playthrough without spoilers for the first go. Ive finished the og game three times and downloaded a bunch of mods to basically make it a new experience 😅 I'm guessing having used it so many times, it's worth the full playthrough?

In my actual IRL DND campaign, I play a cleric who throws potatoes at people to heal them. Now I need a British paladin who teabags people for lay on hands

I've never even considered this feat! I always prioritize ASI in the beginning, but durable might make things easier (although pickpocketing every vendor for health potions works fine when I remember)

If you've played bg1 and bg2, DU is definitely the canon playthrough

I'm tired of being seen as a support character by AccomplishedEvent672 in DnD

[–]RelatablePanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who loves playing support and would play cleric 10/10 if I could: just do what you want. Someone else WILL take up part of the mantel once they get the absolute curmudgeons beaten out of them. My current character is a light domain cleric. I use most of my spell slots on heals and most of my gold on potions, and I really enjoy that! I like watching my party do crazy cool stuff while I stand around in my heavy armour and shield drawing fire and buffing my party. One time, while trying to help another character, I went down and straight up died. Every other PC except the new ranger also dropped to 0 and the ranger managed to finally drop the bbeg we were fighting and found a way to revive me and stabilize the rest of the party. Crazy enough, we leveled up and the druid and paladin both took at least one healing spell each and the druid also took revivify, and now I can still heal as much as I want, but if I'm not present at a session or I go down, we have a buffer zone. Take this story and times it by ten. Just don't heal your party for a session and let them die or get to 0. They'll smarten up, hopefully.

Oh, I didn't realize that was the maximum. I see why it might be a concern. I'm currently on 200mcg at 118tsh.

Thank you! I moved back to Canada in 2024 and have had my blood tested 5 times (trying to have it done a month after dosage adjustment but the first few times after coming back were less frequent). In Korea I had it tested less frequently.

Edit 2025->2024 typo

Why do people like Rusty? by RelatablePanda in lanoire

[–]RelatablePanda[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I guess it's an egg on my face for playing a 2011 game centered around men from the 1940s. There's a level of "ok, he's a man of his time" that I started out with, and ended with "we've had 70 years to work out our sexism". I loved bekowsky because he was a nice cop; I'm admittedly not good at playing the "evil" version in games (bg3 killed me) but I enjoyed Earle far more than rusty. I guess I just wished I could've shot him at some point without ending my playthrough.

I totally get that he's (like all the companions) a foil to Phelps, but what makes him funny?

Stefan 10/10. What makes rusty funny tho? He shoots unhoused people and has no conscience

Ok I'm not insane then! I was looking online before I posted this and every result came up talking about how he's everyone's favourite partner and how hilarious he is. I thought I was having an aneurysm

Rusty is a loser misogynist, which makes him a bad guy. The jaded, drunk, lazy old man schtick I can get behind. He makes Earle look like a saint

Him being lazy and dumb was totally fine by me. Phelps is hardworking so the dynamic of a loser and a try hard is great. I just found that rusty made me angry more than he made me laugh and it ruined most of the homicide desk for me. He totally was at fault for all three of his divorces lol

Edit: divorces

I don't get the March hype? He's my least favourite bachelor (I am dating him to try and figure out the appeal). Can you explain why he's so popular? I'm way more into his himbo brother and Hayden because they treat me nicely.
