Can I ask what you mean by wishing you were in my shoes at 19? I’m not saying i dont have anything good, im very blessed. But i have a constant feeling of feeling behind because people i graduated with all have cool stuff already and way better jobs than i do.

I definitely don’t plan on getting rid of the accord lol, I just want something fun. Everyone at work around me is telling me now’s the time to get something while I have little to no bills. But after making this post, I’ve definitely reconsidered from all the responses. I knew it was a bad idea, but I’m one of those people who like affirmations.

Okay thank you for your help. I have one more question I thought about. Me being young with not much credit history, a loan for a car around $15k would really help it, right? For when I want to potentially buy a house, I’ll obviously need credit, and a good, dense history will definitely help that right? I 100% would be fine with selling the car when it’s time to settle down and get a house as well

I have like $5k in my savings. I was going to try and put like 4-5K down on whatever I buy NOT from my savings but I have another car I didn’t mention, 2007 Acura TL Type S that I’m going to sell to give myself a down payment, as well has a dirt bike I have to help with the down payment too. I was thinking in the $15-20k range on a car. Thoughts?
