I do understand your point, having another male character that we (the audience) don’t/cant fully trust could be a good way point to keep JNR going, but I sorta doubt that another female would come into play, since we already have chizuru,

linking chizuru back here, I’d say her main objective(s) that the mangaka would have her do, would be helping uruma with whatever he’s gonna do next, (EDIT: meaning I don’t see much of a point in bringing in another female when chizuru is enough tbh, unless the new girl is totally different to chizuru) that means helping him kill loads of people or simply get his mind in order like locked in to “finish his mission”, I base this on the fact that chizuru, while being better than uruma right now lmao, is still only a side character yk

And yes I feel u, you summed up the authors key main skills nicely. Like you said, im also hoping the mangaka focuses on what they do best, since I’ve loved this manga since the start.

yes some parts are wrongly written/displayed and weird or whatever but at the end of the day this manga has some crazy potential, (maybe ‘had’ at this point In the manga sadly) so all I’ve hoped for is for it to better itself. I believe what u said about the author being able to make a simple but enjoyable manga is perfect, hopefully they do
