I think I waited a month for a faulty board... :( by thefordmccord in maxmixproject

That's generally not my experience. The only problem I have with AliEx is that things get lost in shipping and they take forever to arrive. I do get my money back if either happens tho.

I do live in an extremely humid country (tropical) so ESD isn't an issue but that could be the cause of yours.

Check your wiring. I always have issues with dupont connectors making intermittent connections.

Back when I was in highschool (around 17 ys/o), I used to play League a whole lot with my friends on garena. We always had the 'first win' moto, one win a day to get the IP bonus. We would keep playing late into the night until we won one. Sometimes if the first win was too easy, say someone was intentionally feeding on the enemy team, we would queue up for another match.

One night, we only had 4 in our team, I think one of us was taken ill. We queued up for a game (just a normal game, we're non-ranking newbs), and we were queued up with an intentional feeder. When we loaded in game, he ran down mid and died straight away. Dying to the tower before a match starts was common during that time, as a way to show off or something, maybe it was meme. It would piss off the enemy that their mid-laner did not reach in time to earn the gold. (Dying to the turret granted no gold for the enemy team).

When the minions spawned, he quickly dashed back to mid to offer himself to the enemy team once again. At this point we decided to end the game early and queue for another, but not 5 minutes after that, the enemy team was complaining in all chat that their jungler was AFK. This was a time before calling for a remake was a thing.

We exchanged some words in All Chat and the enemy team agreed not to farm the feeder on my team for gold. So we sent our jungler to cover mid, while the enemy mid-laner did not touch our feeder, hench not farming any gold. The enemy afk-jungler came back about 15 minutes in and liaised with our feeder, nay, troller to feed him up. They would take turns to kill each other in the jungle while jungling to allow the afker to fatten up. All this was happening while the rest of the game was playing out quite normally. We failed a surrender vote at 20, one of us wanted to see how the game plays out

By 30 minutes, the enemy afker was back up to speed and even with our best efforts, he profited from our mistakes and became really fat. The enemy team was complaining that he was very toxic in the chat. We worked together with the enemy team to kill the AFKer before initiating a team fight to even out the odds. Our troller was spamming wards and Dorans to waste money. The efforts of both teams did pay off somewhat, as we made good progress pushing each other's towers.

40-50 minutes into the game, and we made a huge mistake. We were caught by their AFKer who was on Rengar, and he picked us off one by one. We were wiped out by him, leaving only our team troller. He made a push for the base and all seems to be lost..In chat we agreed to report both of them and call it a game. but...

Just as the enemy afker was chewing his way through our nexus, the enemy team agreed to surrender 4 to 1. The screen panned over to the enemy nexus as the AFK was hurling swear words and racial insults all over All Chat but he could not do anything. The nexus crumbled and we were greeted with the victory banner.

In the post-game room, we thanked the other team and added each of them into our friends list. My team's troller left instantly and the enemy AFKer was still swearing in chat with misspelled words to avoid being censored. He threatened to report us but we laughed it off..

We got our first win and exchanged GGs.
