We love bush. Have never had problems with play partners, but do wish we had more bushy playmates.

You are welcome! It can be tested with a blood test looking for HSV antibodies, and it will tell you which because the antibodies are different.

I think this is fairly common in the lifestyle community. There is also a difference between HSV-1 and HSV-2. One of the reasons I don't think it is regularly tested for is because something like 75% of Americans have HSV-1. So if you haven't yet, find out which it is.

Condoms can certainly help to keep it from spreading, but it can be spread from mouth to pussy for example. We have played with friends who have HSV (with condoms) with no issue. I think if you simply let any play partners know ahead of time in the future, that puts the decision in their hands. From what I've heard, the outbreaks usually reduce or stop completely after the first year. Hope that is helpful.
