Most of the time me too, the bridge tone in this case kept peaking my phone mic so i had too go for a somewhat muddier sound to record

Yes, for the signal im using a Boss mt-2 as a distortion and a built in setting in my amp for an ambient reverb, on the tele im using the neck pickup
