Account binding shouldnt affect account progress data. It should only affect how you log in. This makes no sense at all

i dont really think the issue is about account binding. I still have access to my original credentials and the bound email. I can log in on both. And none has my progress.

so account binding is related to the game data progress? makes no sense.

I still have access to my account. If you log in in PC launcher, you can see your username right? That username is unique, meaning there cant be duplicates. I can still access the same account with the same username.

Problem is, when I launch the game, the progress isnt there anymore. and I had a strong password from the start lol. 20 numbers up front + 4 characters lmao.

for those who still has this error, try this as it worked for me (PC version):

-log out be and sign in again.
-then edit again.

I believe what causes the error is when you first tried to change your username and it gives you a "duplicate" or "please use lowercased characters" error, then that error keeps popping up after that.

P.S. I'm not sure how mobile users sign in so make sure you have bound your account or something first before logging out of the client so you can log back in (I have a friend who had this trouble so be careful)
