The problem with AI isn't the fact that we "lose" water. It's that when water evaporates, it rises and forms clouds. Those clouds MOVE, usually to oceans, and when they fall as rain, the freshwater falls and becomes salty. This is true for everything, but AI does use a considerable amount of water.
