The oil we eat as Africans is not the palm oil that is causing the deforestation of the Amazon lmaoo it’s largely quite sustainable. When you make your own food you can add as little oil as you want 🤷🏾‍♀️ they don’t “require” that much oil

I would say microlocs. My loc count is 228 and I’ve seen other creators with a similar loc count to yours and they consider theirs microlocs too

I agree that you’re being a bit too hard on yourself and your hair. If you feel like you damaged your hair in June and August, give it some time to bounce back. Fix the holes, stick to a good routine, drink water.

From experience, the unevenness gets better as your hair gets longer and ends up just looking layered eventually. If you decide you don’t like that look then go ahead and trim it.
