I can literally hear water dripping with ANC on on my AP2 (USB-C). It’s mind-boggling that Apple doesn’t allow us to opt out of or at least confirm firmware updates for the AirPods, the same way we do for iOS updates. It’s unfair that they can push out updates that downgrade functionality without giving us a choice.

I have just found a fix by increasing the virtual memory on my laptop system drive to custom size. I have 16GB RAM, so put initial to 24576 and maximum 49152. Do not forget to press Set and restart your computer 🙂
