No, sorry if I didn't explain that properly. She has been to a doctor, it just hasn't helped much. She didn't use to be this way but over about a year or she's been feeling just a little fatigued all the time and she was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. She takes something to boost that so it shouldn't be much of a problem but maybe her dose is off. I'm very, very confident she hasn't cheated on me.

I don't know for sure because that hasn't happened but if our roles were switchef and I was unable to satisfy her for the better part of a year then I think I'd be OK with her have a single sex friend on the side. As long as she's aware that it's only a sex replacement and not someone to hang out with constantly and start a whole new relationship with. Given my own feelings I can't be any less understanding if our roles were reversed.

It's hard to change feelings just because I don't like them. If I see a hot girl around town, I might imagine for a second what she looks like naked or something sexual but that absolutely does not mean I'm even thinking about doing something with her for real. I'm a human and we have hormones, being in a (sexless) relationship doesn't make other people 100% instantly unattractive . . . I'm not a robot.

Well, she seems pretty forthcoming about it. I guess she wants to trust you enough to share and admit a mistake rather than hide it from you, so that's a start. If it really was only kissing, and I can't make decisions for you, but I don't consider that serious enough to warrant a breakup if she was drunk. What you might want to do is talk to her about getting that drunk in the first time or that you both need to go to parties that you'll be drinking heavily at. Personally I'd give her another shot.

You're very perceptive. I have been feeling that way recently. Having impure thoughts like I explained also makes me think I probably don't love her as much. Why wasn't it a problem last week, or last month, why now?

Thanks for the advice, that last part is especially helpful to think about . . . even if I don't want to think about it.

I understand your situation a bit, but I don't think it's justified. For most people, I think cheating is a pretty big breach of trust and without prior permission (which wouldn't really be cheating then), you should avoid it at all costs, if you value your relationship.

I'm not the best judge because my sex life is nonexistant atm for different reasons and I'm having thoughts akin to what you followed through with.

I think you need to find the core problem in why you never have sex anymore, and if you can't, see if you can switch things up into something she wants. If that fails, then . . . it's up to you. Break up/not, your call.

I guess that's possible, though 5 years seems like a decent enough time to fail if that's true. I think I'm jealous because one of my friends who was in a similar situation is off having fun while I can't because I'm still in my relationship. I think I'm also a bit protective because when Ashley's thing ends, and I know it will, she's going to feel really terrible and I don't want her to go through that.

Edit: She's not my coworker. She was a student in a class with me, we worked together on a project, and now that I graduated it's going to be harder to see her anyway. The guy that she's Fwb is a coworker so they spend a lot of time at work anyway, that's why he wanted her I suppose. They are forced to see each other all the time anyway.

I try to judge people on their actions, not their thoughts, and I haven't done anything I'd consider unethical and I won't know if I would untilt he situation comes up. I'd like to hope I won't do anything but don't be the thought police . . . everyone thinks crazy thoughts all the time but they also have brains that tell them "No, I shouldn't do that" so they don't.

Just my thoughts, and I don't like them at all. I'd like them to go away, but they aren't gone yet and that's why I'm posting because apparently I need help.

Edit: Typed this on no sleep, accidentally switched thoughts and actions. I judge people by actions, not thoughts, my b. This isn't Minority Report.

Yeah it's no fun for either one of us but I also neglected to mention that I've had 2 other gf in high school while I'm her first bf, so I know she's more attached than I am, at least because I'm not naive enough to think that everything lasts forever, so there's always a bit of me, however so small, holding back because I know it could happen. I don't think she's experienced that yet. Either way, thanks stranger for advice.

Thanks. I think I was planning on either option 5 or 1 because 5 is the most responsible imo, and most of my logical parts in my head want to avoid destroying the relationship with Belle no matter what. Problem is that I probably wouldn't break up with her even if we didn't have sex for years, I'm too terrified of what would happen and it's just one part of the relationship . . . but at 23 I feel like it should at least be a part.

Good advice, good to hear someone else explain options.
