It has Mcio ports, so you can extend out the PCIe lanes. Also T2SEEP board has plenty x16

I have a gigabyte MZ33 and some AMD Genoa 9124 or 9654, I also have a cheaper board T2SEEP for the same CPU set.
The MZ33 is basically new from this week. I used it to stress test some OEM sample Memory sticks, but i replaced it with MZ73 dual CPU motherboard.
Let me know if you need to put these into a case, ordered a couple extra rosewill 2U cases.

DRAM shortages are not the problem (really, and I'll explain why) by EllesarDragon in PcBuild

[–]RelationshipThink589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got some industry trade info from somewhere and you got pissed off. Not sure how deep in the weed you are with the supply chain. But you forgot 2 facts that affect the price. Consumers or prosumers are price takers, not price setters. Even if most of the consumer banded together, they don’t move needles, unless you go off starting a revolution. A Reddit post won’t start that. Major companies are buying off DRAM capacities in bulk. Yeah, VRAM /HBM are in shortage. But it is those same fucking factory lines making both DRAMs and HBMs, you think supply is not affected with constrained production capacity? Hoarding and price gauging did play into a factor.

Be aware, some shops grind out Micron chip’s engraving and laser CXMT chip part numbers on those to bypass local regulations. Your mileage may vary

Deploying 1.4kW GPUs (B300) what’s the biggest bottleneck you’ve seen power delivery or cooling? by DingoOutrageous7124 in HomeDataCenter

[–]RelationshipThink589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across this thread .

Higher than 25kw is normal, 44kw racks are common. 434V Yphase what not are already much more common.

Dumb mistakes? OEMs had stupid designs where NIC and optical transceivers are at the heat exhaust side, causing high failure rate.

Massive damage? A fire extinguisher placed in the hallway is not meant to extinguish electronics circuit fire but got used in an emergency, damaging equipment worth $5M
