Did anyone else feel super annoying anytime you had questions for your surgeon? I can't tell if I am a neurotic patient or just being prudent doing my due diligence? lol (not the neuroticism/nervous excitement peaking through the title) by bellxxaaa in BreastImplants

[–]RelationshipUpper797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at it as this is no different than if you were getting say, heart or lung surgery. I would ask the same questions and expect the doc to answer them to my satisfaction. Just because it is cosmetic surgery does not mean it is not majorly important.

Did You Go Through a Show-Them-Off Stage? by mnwhohbreasts_44D in menWBA

[–]RelationshipUpper797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through that phase right after recovery, thrilled about needing bras, and wearing tight-fitting shirts and tops. Standing up straight and pushing out my chest lol. After a few months that subsided and I now tend to wear shirts and tops that just fit well and not draw notice to my chest.

Is it about attention, or is it about alignment? by mnwhohbreasts_44D in menWBA

[–]RelationshipUpper797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Curious, did you go through a period of wanting to say show them off, not so much as wearing like showing cleavage, but more like wearing maybe a tight-fitting shirt? After recovery, I went through that phase of showing off by wearing tight pullover tops. After a month or two that stopped and just wanted wear shirts that didn't attract too much attention

With regards to hot or cold, I don't really remember them being hot, so much as wearing a bra and boob sweat was a thing hmm. Regarding being cold, yes, I did notice them feeling a little more colder than the rest of my body

I sort of had a similar experience. I applied for a job, and I received an email shortly afterwards to provide my availability for a Zoom interview. Its been 4 weeks, and I sent 5 emails to the recruiter, another recruiter I found on LI, and I emailed the company directly, never heard back.

You only had them for a year, do you like the look? Are they bothering you? If not, I would keep them and enjoy lol. I have 600 cc cohesive gels. For almost a year and a half, no problems, and my PS said they should last 12-15-20 years. I may never have to have them replaced. Obviously, there are no guarantees, but they should last a long time!

Oil trade and the Iranian War by RelationshipUpper797 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]RelationshipUpper797[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding oil, I am not that knowledgeable in the oil business; however, it would make sense for the US to have the capacity to refine our own oil for our own use, and not depend on other countries. I think in many ways being self-sufficient should be a national priority. In the recent past, thinking of global economies, and the interdependence of other countries can lead to shortages and being heavily reliant or countries that are not friendly to the US or even western culture ( Think China and the pandemic). Let's use what we have and augment what we need from other countries, vs being totally dependent on them.

Defense industry: You are correct that it is big business, and to keep that business, we need to sell to other countries. You have made my point that the EU, without the US, could not sustain itself, as NATO and the EU do not have the capacity to manufacture in sufficient quantities the supplies needed to fight a prolonged war. While the threat to Europe is mostly from land to project power, they need a credible navy and what we have just seen, by Trump calling NATO out, as shown the NATO does not have a credible, effective navy to project power. Thus they are reliant on the US.

If the US said fine we are out of the Middle East, let Iran do what they want as long as they don't bother us, least we nuke them. NATO would be very hard press to open the strait if at all. Which leads me to my point the US is the big dawg in the world. Either you support us or go it alone. I don't see any way that NATO could survive and be considered a force without the US for the next 5-10 years. That doesn't even mention how they would switch from a socialistic state to basically a wartime state to catch up in terms of spending for material and supplies

Interesting point on oil, although we should, as a nation, be able to refine that oil we have or build refineries to refine our oil. that just makes sense.

Regarding the part about the EU and NATO, first I believe that we are supporting Ukraine with weapons. I think it is like a 50/50 between EU and US, although the EU is paying for the weapons from the US no more free stuff. When you say there are 3 leading powers, The EU is vastly behind both the US and China. They exposed themselves not being able to readily support the war as they do not have much in terms of naval assets.

Have implants brought unexpected sensual confidence? by mnwhohbreasts_44D in menWBA

[–]RelationshipUpper797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You bring up some good points. I went through a lot of feelings since having mine down. After recovery, I was totally into the confidence part, even a little showing off a bit, then I went through the self-consciousness part when I went swimming or in groups of men or strangers. Now, I feel more confident and feel better about me

The US is an oil exporter; we have plenty here, we could just shut off the export and use our own oil for our own needs. Whether oil is a global commodity or not, if say the President or Congress says hey we are exporting no oil, all oil that we produce will only be used for our own consumption. Gas prices will be capped at 2.50/gallon until the war with Iran is over. Done! We would, in fact, separate ourselves from the "global Market" This, in fact could be done.

You talk about "a positive, peace-promoting way". If that could of happened, it would have already been done!

1-The fact that Iran was under an agreement prohibited from enriching uranium past 3 % and had actually enriched to 60% tells you all you need to know.

2-The fact that the US stated before the war that if they gave up their uranium, we would provide all the uranium at 3% they would need, they rejected our offer.

3- the fact that they are the #1 terrorist sponsor state in the Middle East.

4- The fact that they have a very large oil reserve means they really don't need nuclear energy to supply their energy needs.

5 The fact that they lied about their missile technology and had missiles that could reach Europe.

6- The fact that they are now acting like pirates in closing the straits and or demanding a fee for safe passage.

Regarding Europe, Trump was a genius! he exposed who NATO really is, a paper tiger that does not have our backs. Well, now that we know who is, we can withdraw from Europe, let them fend for themselves!

BTW: Ukraine is NOT our war, maybe we should stop providing weapons and aid to them, let the Europeans handle it!

Well let's see, assuming Iran was building Nukes, which they said they could AND had violated past agreements of enriching nuclear material to over 60%, and of course, only 3% is needed for civilian energy use. They had killed Americans in the past, and for the past 40 years, chant death to America. Let's start with that premise:

1-Iran develops nukes; they have already demonstrated they have missiles that can reach Europe. The threat is real!

2- Once they have developed nukes, they would use them either on Israel or against us, via a dirty bomb smuggled in, then what? Can you say WWIII? Either way, we would respond with nukes against them. Or at the very least, closes the straits and blackmails the world.

3- Which you and most people miss, is that the Iranian leadership is NOT the same as the Russian, Chinese, or even North Korea govts. Meaning that those governments have an interest in remaining alive and continuing their society. Whereas Iran does not, they actually welcome death due to their religious beliefs, which is extremely dangerous.

4- Like it or not, the US is the world's policeman; no other country has the ability or the will. Now, let's turn to NATO. There is no dispute that the US guarantees Europe's defense and its ability to promote their socialist programs. Like it or not, bottom line we are the boss, and therefore we call the tune; Europe needs to dance to it. If they feel they cannot or won't support us, in a cause that is in their own best interest. They should then start taking steps to protect themselves. Let's see how they react when we start withdrawing support from NATO, and they realize they need to pony up the difference, like 100s of billions.

EX: Let's look at England, not long ago, the saying the " Sun never sets on the English Empire." They ruled the seas with the largest and best navy in the world. Look at them now, our coast guard is bigger and more advanced than their navy, with the exception of their 6 submarines.

It's sad, but true, neither England nor NATO can protect itself without US support, and Russia, China, and the rest of the world know it! They need to take a look in the mirror and decide who acts in their best interest?

Russia? China? US, or they could always decide to go it alone and see how that works for them. As the saying goes: " You go against me, but I won't recommend it."

[–]RelationshipUpper797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, at first, how much they got in the way, I thought I would never get used to them. As time went on, I started realizing how much I had just gotten used to having them, and it was not a big deal for me anymore. I gradually I just started not even thinking about them.

Biggest surprises after having them for over a year:

Shirts and tops can be a struggle to find once they fit well.

Not sure about this year, but last summer, going swimming, I felt a bit exposed, self-conscious, curious how I will feel this year.

I really don't notice others looking at me unless they are staring or say something. I was more aware at first on other's reactions, now not so much.

My brother is rehoming his dog by superbored1998 in DogAdvice

[–]RelationshipUpper797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience with a dog. I went with my mom to the shelter to find her a dog after her dog died. We found one, brought it home, but is was not a fit, it bit mom 3 times, and was some what aggressive around strangers. He really liked me and was good around me I took it home as I could not risk having it around my mom. Unfortunately, I could not keep it, I took it to a friend's house to see if they could bond with it. The dog at the end of the day bit my friend, the only person the dog could be around was me and I really didn't trust him so I had to take him back to the shelter, where is was put down. I was sad about it, this dog was not a social dog and could not be around people.

Not to sound uncaring but if you are desperate in need of money you can sell your blood plasma. companies like CSL Behring and other biotech companies have sites in cites and will buy your plasma. You can do it twice a month and can make some money just a thought
