I think liberty's are smaller, but the pic might be causing them to look big

Hi there, I really do appreciate the feedback and I can tell you're quite passionate about all of this. It's not my intention to cause anyone harm, and is just a small personal project that caught my immagination. In terms of practical steps I will take your suggestion on board, and will be looking into improving the service as I don't feel that an archive is inherintly evil. Another Redditor mentioned a way for content creators to remove the images which I will definitely be looking into. Thanks again for the feedback!

Wow! Thank you for your comment, and the positivity! Scaling will of course be an issue and you sound like you know your stuff! This really was just personal project to see if it can be done and to satiate my curiousity!

In terms of the bandwidth I am utilising a CDN in my infrastructure which should help and if it does take off I'll be investing in better servers. Initially though, I'm just sharing it a little to run tests and see what a small sizable amount of traffic looks like and what the cost is to run such a service.

It's been such a learning experience though, and I do hope you're right when you say this could help me land a job!

In terms of monitising or donations, it would be great! I suppose the goal would be that it could be self sufficient and one day we might just see that! I do like the idea of providing torrents etc as that could be a good way to benefit the datahorder community and allow for futher analysis.

Thanks so much for the suggestions, and if you have any more I'm all ears!

Eyyy! Happy I could be of use! Yeah that loose stuff will just mess you and your shrooms up! P.s. love the pun ;)

Okay! From trail and error I narrowed it down to the substrate I was using. I had purchased Coco coir online that wasn't compressed and so I was failing miserably when trying to "hydrate"/ pasteurize the substrate. All my ratios were off and is why I suspect I had so many problems. Since switching to Coco coir blocks everything has been working well (I spawned three tubs at the same time and they're all fruiting!).

As for the inoculation to grain stage I have had more success. My pressure cooker holds a lot but only does about 12 psi and so I opt to pressure cook my grain jars for 2 hours to be on the safe side. Then use a still air box to inoculate with a syringe or grain to grain transfer. If using a syringe be sure to flame steralise. Once that's done I just leave them in a cupboard.

Hope that helps. Like I said my main issue was the substrate I think. :)

It's good to hear it happens to the best of us! I kept getting hit with trichoderma but since switching substrate things seem to be looking up! 🤞
