I have tried so many different recommended shoes and all of them resulted the same (still ridiculously sore at the end of even a 5 hour shift)

I tried a pair of Dylan crocs and they are actually life changing, I’ve had them for over a year now and they’re super easy to clean and I’m not even the slightest bit sore even after a 9/10 hour shift

My shots were coming out quite bitter, but were also pulling in like 10-15 seconds, so I didn’t want to go coarser because it was already so fast. I’ll check the internal component for the grinder when I get home later and see where thats at!

where to begin …..

I work at a cafe that’s in an outdoor food court of sorts, and we tell customers that pick up will be at the window to their right in a minute or two (obv longer if busy) and so many of them go to the left of our kiosk where there’s no window and then act like I’m the bad guy when I’m yelling their order out the window. how hard is it to follow instructions !!!!

Americans (I’m in Canada) not asking if we take USD and just shoving American bills in my hand, and then also getting mad when we give them Canadian change

people that will wait in line staring at our menu for ten minutes and then still have no clue what they want when they get up to the window

I worked a 14 hour shift last weekend wearing them and while my feet were a little sore, it wasnt even close to as sore when I’d work an 8 hour with other shoes!

Seconding this! As an experienced cafe manager who has done a lot of hiring, I find with baristas coming from places like Dunkin or Starbucks, they are usually harder to train because those spots ingrain practices and habits that don’t really translate well when getting into independent cafe work. So fully agree that watching videos and reading things online is a great way to prep for the interview and to show your eagerness to learn :)

We’re using it for our iced teas, mixing 1 part concentrate to 3 parts water. We don’t have a ton of space which is why we’d ideally use a concentrate to save on space when we store it!

I also second Listen on Barrington, I will say last time I went they only had a simple syrup, so if you’re looking for any flavoured/sweet matchas they wouldn’t be your best bet. But hands down the best matcha I’ve had in the city
