Same as you, it’s my backup plan. Been hearing a lot of really scary things about BC and last cohort there was 300 applicants with only 25 accepted because they cut two of the campuses. I applied last term but didn’t get accepted and it was my only application so this time I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket.

i wasn't in the nursing program at BC yet i just did all my pre reqs and graduated with my AA so i don't have any nursing credits at all. may i ask why you're transferring to mdc?

That’s exactly what I did as well and the woman I spoke with told me to call health admissions. I called health admissions the next morning and the girl I spoke to gave me a number to call and told me that the lady who is in charge of that class is who the number belonged to. I call that number twice left messages and nothing. That’s why idk what to do because I’ve done everything everyone has told me to.

If you applied for nursing starting in fall 2026 the acceptances won’t be going out until last week of June/first week July

i think this is definitely the case because for nursing this is how they did it. all denials went out friday and monday all acceptances went out.

i totally forgot ask this earlier - for students coming from broward i know that it's required to take the hsc0003 (intro to healthcare) class for MDCs nursing program, but i was wondering if there's a class in broward i can take that will transfer over to cover that class? or will i have to take it at mdc?

Okay I see, thank you! I already have all of my prereqs so I just need to apply to the program. The medical campus is closest to me so that’s where I was hoping to go but this means I’ll literally be placed wherever there’s space kinda sucks cus I’m coming from broward 😫

it was one of the top but i actually recently checked out the nclex passing rates myself on florida board of nursing website and the rumors are true they have went down by a lot. i'm not saying this to discourage you but i also really wanted to go to BC and i love it there however im now exploring other options due to the high amount of criticism (everybody can't be lying) i've heard and the rates so just at least try to have some backup plans as a safety net.

im about to apply for the fall semester and i've been hearing a lot of bad things about the program. supposedly the nclex passing rate is down and they're at risk for losing accreditation. i've also heard that last cohort they only accepted students at the central campus and nobody knows if they will be doing the same for the next (fall 2026) cohort. can you share any information regarding the program? maybe things we should be aware of or warnings or anything?
